He's also saying he is in until the finish line, til the end (no matter how much Sean tries to badger him into stepping down.)

Says he's fighting hard to win, its early, this is why we have campaigns, so he'll keep on campaigning, BUT if it is clear that Bustamante is going to win unless he endorses Arnold, then he'll endorse Arnold. But it is way too early to determine that.
Makes a lot of sense, so now maybe its time to lay off some of the constant sniping, and let's see how the campaign goes over the next few weeks and after the debate.

To: Unknown Freeper
Yeah, seems like a contradiction, but he clearly said that he would support Arnold if that is the only way that Bustamante could be defeated. That's the first time I've heard him say that. Very significant, and should ease the fears of many Republicans.
But of course it is too soon to determine how the dynamics will be in Oct., despite Hannity's pressure.
Go Tom!

Makes absolutely no sense at all. NOW is when people are mailing in votes they can't take back. NOW is when his fevered scorched-earth subset is getting increasingly frenzied and strident. NOW is when monies are being spread about that should be focused.
NOW is past time for him to withdraw.

Yes, McClintock is trying nicely to tell Sean where to go stick it.
G. Davis and B. Clinton will will be visiting a black church in Los Angeles this coming Sunday. Imagine that!!

I guess we'll have to post the transcript when it comes out, because I was so surprised at what he said that I created this thread.
To: Unknown Freeper; Diddle E. Squat
Which is it? Is he staying in until the end no matter what or is he staying in to see how everything goes including the debate and if it looks like Cruz might win he drops out?
I refuse to watch cable news programs at night unless it is a rare circumstance. Makes sleeping a lot easier!

Agree. He did not say that he would support Arnold. He said he was in the race until the end and the electorate would decide.

Can you say Governor Bustamante?
He's "so excited" about raising your taxes, courtesy of McClintock.
I still refuse to believe he won't drop out, unless he really is insane as he looks.

Did you see this? I don't watch H&C or any other news program on cable unless there is someone on I really want to watch.
From this thread, it is hard to see just exactly what he did say!

McClintock is really starting to piss me off big time. When Shawn tell's him the commerce poll said 67% of his supporters would want him to drop out and support Arnold if he was behind, Mr. Stubborn still says he's staying in for "the people".
To: AmericaUnited
Watching this guy now, I wouldn't vote for his cyclops view.
Guess it's a good thing I'm not living in CA.

Schartzenegger's BEST move would be to ask McClintock to drop and then offer him the Lt Gov spot and an inside seat for guidance.
He'd wrap this up in a heartbeat.
