I absolutely *love* that graphic that speaks to the heroism of our military members.

Oh Lord, we ask You to place Your bloodline of protection around all of our military members, but especially those deployed overseas and in harm's way. Protect them the way that they protect us with their selfless acts. We ask You to also show each one of us the way to express our gratitude to these wonderufl men and women, past and present, who have made deep sacrifices to protect our freedoms.

We ask these favors as Your humble and contrite servants in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

On May 18, 1967, at the age of 38, KENNETH CAMERON perished in the service of our country in North Vietnam, Nz.

RICHARD LEE AYERS served as a 1323F in the Air Force, 12 TRS TAN SON NHUT AB. He is listed as Missing in Action.

58,220 gave their
lives in Vietnam.

I thought our travel from San Diego to Texas through the desert with a 6 mo old and 2 year old was an adventure!(no A/C).I think mine was easy,now.This was at the end of Navy service 53 through 56.

I recall doing lessons while my Dad listened to Edward R Murrow and "This is London".We are the same age!I am sure we went to church as soon as we knew about Pearl Harbor.I was in Dallas in a beauty salon when Kennedy was assassinated and ,thank God, with family on 9/11.I will never forget the look in my son in law's eyes as he conveyed the news.

Let me add to that, Staff Sergeant Richard A. Fitts who was MIA in 1968 in a helicopter crash, then whose remains were found in 1990.
