I don't know if this has been mentioned, but ABC radio did a complete hit piece on Bush after the speech.

Re your #775 - this is what I love to hear and wish we could hear more of. Thank you again for your service, sacrifices and positive attitude.

He will still have to answer those questions and I personally believe he is not going to run, but trying to land a high paid military analyst job at one of the networks or maybe a promote a book he's going to write

This strange disconnect has existed in all religions and cultures. It's part of human nature.
No, it has not, and no it's not.

Creepy, too. Doesn't blink.

That's it! Wesley Clark resembles a lizard! It's been making me crazy trying to decide why he he appears so repugnant. Ol' Lizard-eyes!

Way I see it is this:

How do you know the Clinton's are lying?

They open their mouth.

When Nov. 5, 2004 rolls around, and Hitlery! isn't elected, then I'll be content for a day. Until then...

I actually voted for Carter. What a mistake.

I can understand why folks voted for him, because of the times and they didn't really know him.

But I can't understand after all these years why some can't see what kind of damage he's done to this country.

I hope President Bush reminds viewers it's far better the terrorists face our armed, well trained soldier rather than our unarmed citizens in the homeland

I'd prefer that those citizens in the homeland ALSO be armed.

Ah, Midas is back! Lessee, what was gold doing this week Richard? Still in the $370s? Yep, getting rich off that, aren't you?

Silly boy, I don't buy gold. I buy the miners and yes, I am doing very very well thank you.

Thank you, friend.

This speech tonight was the first comments made during a Week of Remembrance for most decent, patriotic Americans. I wonder if the Dwarves will tone down the rhetoric for the next few days.

Great point.

I love the DVR. I have two...one in the living room and one in the bedroom. You can record two programs at the same time and watch a recorded program while you're recording the other two. The second machine comes in handy when there's a third program on at the same time as the other two that I want to record. The cost for each machine is $6.95 a month. There's 40 hours of programming memory on each machine. The machine automatically saves each program for approximately 14 days, but you can extend the time or save it until you erase it. The DVR also comes in handy when channels have their marathon programming schedues of a specific show I like. I usually go through the on-screen guide on a daily basis to set up the recordings. You can schedule recordings up to a week ahead of time. The on-screen guide provides the option of observing the programs for a specific theme: horror, history, drama, mystery, etc. They're very easy to use. You just use the on-screen guide to find the program you want to record & hit the record button on the remote. You are then asked to verify that you want to record this program, and all you have to do is hit the enter button on the remote and that's it. Deleting a program you've recorded is just as easy. There's no trouble using it at all.
