MSNBC had an item on NEW rumblings about HRC running in 2004.. It was in conjunction with more on Wes Clark also getting serious about a run..Mentioned something about a 'high level mtg' that the OTHER Dem candidates were informed of.... Ickes has formed a 'soft money group' which could benefit HRC, and, again, some high level mtg about the possibility of her running. ..Nachman and Bill Press will be discussing this SOON on msnbc...tune in NOW.

so do you think Hillary would tax and spend less than Pataki? Without a doubt, And throw in a bigger sell out to unions also.
Even with NY facing a $10 Billion dollar deficit Pataki has increased spending by $3 Billion (At least with Grey Davis in Ca he is at least cutting somethings) with more to come because Pataki still plans on adding 720,000 more people onto the state doles via his Family health Plus and Healthy NY medicaid schemes.
http://www.health.state.ny.us/nysdoh/fhplus/index.htm
And that $90 Billion number I gave you is a bit deceptive because it is actually way more since Pataki loves to push massive unfunded mandates onto the counties (Almost every county in NY has had double digit property tax increases consecutively the past couple of years).

Well the soccer moms of today are different from the ones that put the Clinton's in office, With the main difference being more and more Soccer Moms are now from the More Conservative Gen-Xers instead of the self absorbed Liberal Baby Boomers that were the majority back in the 1990's.No, the soccer moms of today ARE the ones who put clinton in the White House twice. The Gen-Xers you speak of are women with kids who play soccer. The soccer moms were a specific voting block. Just like the Gen Xers can never be baby-boomers. We can call ourselves baby-boomers, but it doesn't make it so and is little more than us trying to insult ourselves.

You don't understand these people. I have a black colleague---pretty reasonable on most things---but he refuses to say O.J. was a murderer, and when you use the word terrorist he asks that STUPID question, "what, after all, is a terrorist?" Bah!

Yes, yes, yes! He can appear to be a "moderate" and unite the Left as Dean and Hillary cannot.

Did you even read my post? And the things these moms stand for and believe in? I'm saying there are new moms who call themselves soccer moms who aren't leftists. And they certainly don't hobble themselves or quibble over some other past groups distinctions.
I understand that you refer to soccer moms as those who voted for Clinton.

Oh my gosh of course she is polling! She has been behind the 24/7 bashing of Bush for the very purpose of getting him off the high popularity list!

In the meantime GWB has yet to play his cards, I would not bet against him. he is holding a lot of information close to the vest, and will raise the ante shortly. I agree with your above statements, but I'm not sure she's planning to run against Bush.
I keep hearing call-ins finding some tortuous way to mention Haliburton. Even the leftists on TV are finding a way to mention Haliburton. Haliburton, Haliburton, Haliburton. Smacks of talking points.
What if she's planning to run against Cheney.

ask him if he thinks the KKK especially in their heavy lynching days are terrorists. Then ask him why. Then ask him how are Palestinian suicide bombers or 9/11 hijackers any different.
then again, this guy may not be worth arguing with...

Well, Im worried...I remember in 91 when the rapist hit the scene saying that no way this loser can win...then in 95...I said absolutely the rapist can't win My words exactly. That taught me a lesson I will never forget. Never underestimate the Clintons.

Your last comment is the appropriate one. On a personal basis, this is the nicest guy, and a genuine good colleague. Quite pleasant---just totally "out there" when it comes to political reality. In fact, I like him far more than many of my colleagues who are just angry and, as you can tell by their lives, unfulfilled.

Sal pointed it out, but never, never think that she is not capable of this. There are not enough adjectives to describe the evil of this woman.
