MSNBC had an item on NEW rumblings about HRC running in 2004.. It was in conjunction with more on Wes Clark also getting serious about a run..Mentioned something about a 'high level mtg' that the OTHER Dem candidates were informed of.... Ickes has formed a 'soft money group' which could benefit HRC, and, again, some high level mtg about the possibility of her running. ..Nachman and Bill Press will be discussing this SOON on msnbc...tune in NOW.

I have been hearing noises about HRC running with Clark as VP candidate....

That would be good news, getting rid of Saddam, Osama and hildebeast in a 2 year span.

She has to run if Clark runs.
She cannot afford the possiblity, however unlikely, of Clark winning in 04 and possibly again in 08, which would sideline her til 2012.
This should make things a lot more interesting.

The ONLY way Hillary! will run run is if she KNOWS she has it in the bag. Be very afraid.
To: Merovingian
There it is...she's gonna present herself as the "last, best hope" for the rudderless Democratic Party - mark my words...

My prayers are answered. Hitlery running for President will make the race like shooting fish in a barrel for our side.

If she runs (and I hope not) this will be the most contentious, nasty and mean election ever ran in the US. She is such polarizing figure both sides will be out for blood. Her running, even if she would lose, would split this nation for years to come. I see nothing good coming out of her running even if she would lose 49 out of 50 states.

The rats are totally unsatisfied with their current crop of candidates. They hate bush so much that they will self destruct to remove him and stop a eight year term.
It is really funny!

At first I thought HRC would wait until late this year (between Turkey-Day and X-Mas) to jump into the race.
I think in the face of Dean's momentum, she's going have to enter ahead of her well planned schedule....by Oct 1 IMO.

if she runs there will likely be MANY people in America who stop talking to each other. The contrast in worldviews and the corruption of the Clinton's and the lib's defense of it will literally ruin many relationships...Not that Hillary cares, small price to pay.

If she is considering this, she's doing so for personal reasons that we can't know (at this time) and/or because there is polling that is telling her that it is "possible" to beat Bush. That's a pretty dangerous calculation on her part. She only gets one chance. If she loses, she's done. And there is no polling on earth that is that accurate over a year out. Helluva gamble. Could be a big mistake for her strategically to take on the incumbent.
But then, it's not like people haven't made big mistakes before.
To: glock rocks
Bill Press does not believe it....LOL He talked to her a couple weeks ago, she told him she will finish out her Senate term...Dumba$$ Press BELIEVES her....She is a LIAR, does he not know this????
Good point made earlier that she HAS to run if Clark does....
To: Merovingian
Somebody better do something, this Howard Dean thing is getting serious.
Dean leads Kerry by 20 something points.
The Democratic establishment (Clinton, et al) is pannicking. Dean is McGovern and would lose horribly to Bush.
Little Dickie Morris said she wouldn't run until 2008. Maybe she sees how weak the others are and sees herself riding in "to save the day".
