At first I thought HRC would wait until late this year (between Turkey-Day and X-Mas) to jump into the race.
I think in the face of Dean's momentum, she's going have to enter ahead of her well planned schedule....by Oct 1 IMO.

Hillary's slamming of Bush during the power outs seemed pretty telling to want to be in the race. Getting Clark to run as her VP seems pretty transparent to the political junkies. I hope she runs so we can get this battle over with.

At first I thought HRC would wait until late this year (between Turkey-Day and X-Mas) to jump into the race. She can't wait that long, because she has to register for inclusion in the early primaries. I'd guess her entry would be predicated on how her campaign powwow next week evaluates the chances of the strong Dean and possible Clark entry. If they determine there are better than even odds for either of those, she'll enter - not to win, but to be sure no other Dem does thus messing up her 2008 bid. Odds of her resigning her Senate seat to run? Zilch and None.

Yah, we speculated on that yesterday (
