If she runs (and I hope not) this will be the most contentious, nasty and mean election ever ran in the US. She is such polarizing figure both sides will be out for blood. Her running, even if she would lose, would split this nation for years to come. I see nothing good coming out of her running even if she would lose 49 out of 50 states.

if she runs there will likely be MANY people in America who stop talking to each other. The contrast in worldviews and the corruption of the Clinton's and the lib's defense of it will literally ruin many relationships...Not that Hillary cares, small price to pay.

This is the same thing people said after the 2000 election debacle, that the Democrats would "never forget" and the entire nation would be at each other's throats for years afterwards. But everyone except the hardest of the hardcore, mean-spirited, bitter socialist lefties got over it within weeks. And the bitter socialist lefties never get over anything, so who cares what they think.

It will be as contentious as the 1860 election, which did indeed divide the nation, and in a very tragic way. Perhaps that is what she wants.

I'm afraid you are correct.

Agreed, if HRC vs GWB is the lineup, things will get nasty. I'm not dismissing the possibility that she could win either.
Man, with Hillary at the controls, you can bet that she would "change this country back" to the US of Bill in no time. She would have no qualms about issuing executive orders on religion, gun control, you name it. Screw congress and screw The People. I can't think about it.

if she would lose 49 out of 50 states. She is not going to lose 49 states. She already has several states locked up, some big ones too. New York, California, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Connecitcut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, etc.
She will also likely win those states with high unemployment, Michigan, Washington, Pennsylvania, etc.
Bush has a very weak foreign policy record, all nations of the world against us, an endless war, our borders are not safe and secure, our dollar is weak, huge federal deficits, huge balance of trade deficits, high unemployment, loss of high tech, loss of our industrial base, bush is for gun control and wanted to extend the assault weapons ban, increasing government intrusion into our private affairs with the homeland bill, etc.
I really cant think of anything bush can run on to show that things are better now than before he took office.
