I'm surprised that no one's picked up on this, at least no syndicated columnist or TV/radio show. Candidates like this bimbo (and the large number of candidates on the ticket in the California race for governor) are the reason we elect our president through the Electoral College. It's also a good argument for fewer parties, rather than a party designed for each special interest.
Candidates like Ms. Carey are exactly why the "popular vote" should never be used to determine outcome of a presidential election. Just imagine if some clown from a state with a large population like California or New York were to be among those running for president, and assuming that they would get a large backing from their home states, how would that be offset by a state with fewer people?
Other candidates could be nominated from smaller states, but then they wouldn't have as large a backing as those more populated ones. You could have regional candidates, but some regions are more highly populated than others, and more regional candidates would water down the votes for any one candidate even more.
In a bad-to-worse case scenario, an incompetent or malicious candidate ends up with the most popular votes, and becomes president. It wasn't a good idea for Al Gore, and the California governor's race shows that it's not good for consideration at any point in our country's future.

"I'd have a Webcam in the governor's mansion and charge people $20 a month to see what I'm doing all the time," the "New Wave Hookers" star tells PAGE SIX's Ian Spiegelman. And yet another example of the fine statesmanship and classy acts that have come to DEFINE California politics.

Can you spell: "shameless publicity stunt" hatched by the mafia-run a/v industry in California to sell even more of her filthy videos, and nothing else? Her videos are not filthy. In fact, they are quite tidy.

Yeah, that might lead to people with loose morals getting elected to high office, and we certainly can't have that in this country...

Maybe she will make the State charge a fair value for its services. That would be a novel idea.
At least maybe we all could get "f_cked" and get the real thing instead of paying through the nose for nothing or worse and really getting "f_cked."

Now you are defending the Hedgehog? Sorry if I offended you, I didn't realize you found him attractive. But the SCOTUS says your lifestyle is a Constitutional right, so good luck with it. A threesome of Barney, Jeremy and RBA? You sure are one twisted sister!
