Wesley Clark Admits He Lied

Wesley Clark admitted the White House DID NOT pressure him to lie that Iraq was behind 9/11. He now admits it was a Canadian think tank.
Previously, Clark had insisted that the White House called him, as the towers were falling, to pressure Clark to go national that Iraq was behind the attack. He has backed off that claim and admits he was "confused".

I've seen him duck nearly every question put to him. As though he wants people to think he's so open minded and moderate that he'd consider for one millisecond of running as a Republican. When pigs fly. And we wouldn't want him. And NO ONE is going to run on the Reupblican ticket against the President. Clark must think we're all idiots.

All the lying started AT EXACTLY the same time in the media, spurred on by the DNC.
I thought it was a conspiracy when I first observed it in late Winter and now I am convinced. It started before the war, as soon as those traitorous dirtbags thought that the 9-11 tragedy was sufficiently in the rear view mirror.
You can take it to the bank.

I don't know if you are kidding, but there is something not right (lord knows, there are lots of things) about this guy. Eyes are the window to the soul and this guy is creepy. He really looks like somebody is pulling the strings. I hope , if he makes it to the debates, that he goes through a metal detector. I think he might have more planned than the preposterously stiff Gore handshake. One look at the man-- odd sweat and odder stare-- and you can't rule anything out. He is certifiable!

Well, well, well. Clark lied. Who wudda thunk it?

LOL!!!!!!!!!! Remember the rhyme -- birds of a feather flock together! Think that fits with these Gore clones who lie and reinvent themselves as candidates! Clark had to be nuts to think he wouldn't get called on his statement!

The possibility of an independent candidacy exists. Bubba is his consigliere and he knows he wouldn't have been able to get a BJ in the Oval Office had H. Ross Perot had not split the GOP vote. Bubba knows his 8 years were an accident. Had 19 million people not voted for Perot in 92 (and the liberals blame Nader's pitiful numbers for Gore's loss.) How funny that the Left thought Clinton (who nearly 6 in 10 Americans didn't vote for) was legitimate but Bush is not.

Army chiefs of staff thought that Clark was more concerned with Democrat politics than he was with his duty to the military. The only details are off the record comments from officials and THE FACT that 4 higher ups just never showed for the party, and they were expected. It was a clear dissing.
Clark also praised Kerry and his war record profusely today, leaving open his VP chances. Notice how he has not criticized one Dim yet and won't even declare his party affil? He only bashes Bush yet won't challenge Dims. He is trying to show he has the name and credentials to be VP. They HAVE to choose a military person for VP to counteract Bush's biggest strength- national security. Dims are attacking Bush on security issue- they HAVE to have a VP who is perceived as strong on defense.

I think you nailed it - Clark IS nuts.
Who was it who said they were afraid the left had lost their collective minds? DeLay? Looks more and more like he was correct.

Good points. I get so mad when FNC and other reporters let leftists get away with Bush didn't get 50% of the vote. The reporters really need to remind people that Clinton didn't have anywhere near a majority vote.

He has backed off that claim and admits he was "confused". Isn't that a Rat euphemism for saying they lied?
