What (men) do women want?

Do conservative women look for different qualities of masculinity in men than liberal women do? Is sex appeal not so much in the eye, but in a point of view? Do young Republicans and young Democrats have different ideas about "hooking up" (which is what young people call pairing off).
Like everything else in the soft science of psychology, it depends on the interpretation you read. Data can be dada. My favorite survey of the season was made by the Independent Women's Forum, a conservative woman's organization that contends with radical feminism with long red nails, good looks, educated smarts and a sense of humor. At the end of every summer, IWF interviews Capitol Hill interns who work in congressional offices during their summer vacations.

In that scenario, all the "good men" appear to be wimps.
Why would I want a man who cant compete with other men, but expects me to compete with other women?
Goodness knows I think men are, as a species, wonderfull!
Why would I, or any woman, want a testosterone deficient example moping around the house?
When and if the time comes that I can afford to become "involved" with a man again,I will be looking for a John Wayne, not an Allan Alda type.
I have my own portfolio, commonly called "baggage",that I manage quite well. What I dont have, a good man, is nothing that I need to survive, but who is a highly desirable addition to my life.
I will wait patiently.
Knowing I cant have a JW, unless I can give him what he needs and wants.
And I dont want to be bothered with the AA types, because they cant give me what I need and want.

Now I want my fruit cup. ; ) Sad news! That pic (a classic) is no longer available at its old location. However, I was able to find a small copy at Google.
So much for "The Disobedient One," I guess. ;-(

There are a lot of good Christian churches around, but not of the liberal kind, which have watered down the Word of God to make it say something it doesn't. A church by definition is more than one person, and you won't find the will of God for your life if you're not connecting with other believers. You do yourself a disservice by thinking there is no right church for you out there. That is exactly what Satan wants you to believe. You are far weaker on your own than in the church. We are a body of believers, not islands of believers.

How odd! John Wayne is my favorite actor of all time, and we grew up in the same hometown. I hope you find what you're looking for.

I am not in a position to "look" yet.
But thank you for your good wishes.
And when I do feel able to freely offer a man my undivided attention,I can guarentee you,I have no intention of requesting an accounting of his bank balance first.
I will look for a mate, not a retirement plan.
I already have a retirement plan.
FLORIDA LOTTO!
In the "war" between the sexes, much is escalated by those who have no vested interest in the outcome. If a cease fire was ever officially declared, and everyone took a step back and a deep breath, the actual enemy might be viewed a bit more clearly.

"In that scenario, all the "good men" appear to be wimps."
Been there, done that! I was a "nice guy" up until about 10-15 years ago! NOW, I FORCE women to compete for ME! All the "social justification" tricks from women I have in my shirt pocket. All the stupid pickup lines I had back then I have in my socks.
Those women who happen to have "the chip", I make them pull my finger, it just takes up to an hour to realize that they made a fool of themselves!
Those gals who spent their whole lives having gutlessg men tend to their every need never had a man who told them "NO" with the class I have. But I just tease them in the meantime for kicks, anyway.
You see, sarasmom, there were a lot of spoiled, self-centered women in CA to practice off of 10-15 years ago which I had absolutely no respect for anyway. So why not use them for stupid mental games? It's like shooting rabbits. But I have had monogamous, sensual relationships with real LADIES who I GREATLY respected, and may get married to one soon.
I want CLASS in a lady, along with the nice touch only a real WOMAN has.
A lot of the guys on this thread are sidetracked.
Hugs,
Bob

"Pretending to be a knuckledragger is pretty fun. It makes me feeeeel... it makes me feel... it makes me feel like a naturaaaaaal... whoa, man..."
Dang, my man. Go to your local mall and do a few pickup lines on some gals. Dress and look neat and just be the average guy you are! They won't bite, and you'll have some fun, too! I'm an ex-PU artist. Go for it!

Thanks for the hugs, Bob.
But I think you might have missed my point.
I can play only two games expertly.
Backgammon, and Thermonuclear War.
The really, deadly serious game, the war thingy, was won in the last decade. It was a huge, joint effort, and many people were involved in that conflict.
We, the USA, won.
The "war" between the sexes is less definative.
How will we know the victor?
Is there really a war?

Scoring chicks was never a problem for me... It was keeping them that was the problem.

Well, I guess you spent too much time with the wrong chicks. I used to. Now I don't approach a woman below about 40 because I simply can't relate anymore. Because a woman over about 40 has a little concept of life beyond herself and ideas to share.

There really is no war between the sexes. But, there is a war between civilization and life itself brought about by free so-called "judges" without any historical perspective. And also by too many lawyers who have no respect for civilization at all, beyond their own investments.
Eventually, though, we will all find someone to spend the rest of our lives with. I always knew this. So in my "dry" periods I always did things for self-improvement. Maybe that's what women call "confidence"? But after being shot at by terrorist groups in Madrid when I was 29, what woman of that age can define "confidence" anyway?

I have no way to respond to you, if you think women are so culturally ignorant that you think a woman of the USA is equal to the woman of a European country that has been raised to embrace ethnic "diversity" to her own personal detriment.
Do you advertise in foreign countries for a wife?

First, Thank you for your comments. I do not disagree with them. What you say is true.
I do have 'church' around me. I discuss God and Jesus and the Bible with my friends, my girlfriend, and with people at work. I am surrounded by people at work who are in a 'God' mode, so to speak.
I work at the world headquarters of UNITY. We have a staff that prays 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I know what true prayer is. I know what the grace of God is. The whole world is my church.

"Do you advertise in foreign countries for a wife?" No, I simply don't have the time or inclination. But I DO give foreign women more attention than an American-born one, simply because they SEEM to know what a lady is.
