Wesley Clark - Trustworthy? Hardly.

"I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of the President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States."

Here in Arkansas, Wesley Clark, close friend and emulator of Bill Clinton, always refers himself as a "native Arkansan". I suppose that is as honest as his ex-boss's "I never had sex..." proclamations under oath. After all what does an oath to GOD mean to them?

DraftClark.com

"Wesley Clark was born on December 23rd, 1944 in Chicago, <Illinois> into an Orthodox Jewish Family ... Wesley was raised as a Baptist ... converted to Catholicism ..."

With all that background (sound like Hillary's deceitful religious history back in 2000?) and the following fable - all written to sound like Bill - but with military experience...

The Ideal Candidate

Jack Beatty - The Atlantic

In New Hampshire a Harry-and-Louise-style radio ad is being broadcast featuring a couple designing the perfect candidate to run against George W. Bush...

"...
W: And a Rhodes Scholar... Pro-choice... Pro-affirmative action...
...
W: Handsome. Tall, graying, distinguished.

M: And imagine if you can a candidate who was, say, born an Orthodox Jew. Then, after his father's early death and mother's remarriage, raised as a southern Baptist.

W: And who converts to Catholicism in Vietnam.

M: THE TRIFECTA !"

That's all that GOD, morality, honor, and integrity means to mr. Wesley Clark and his ex-bosses.

ALL future presidents and anyone else aspiring to hold a public office should really remember our military personnel's truly faithful Oath of Enlistment:

"I DO SOLEMNLY SWEAR THAT I WILL SUPPORT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES AGAINST ALL ENEMIES, FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC; THAT I WILL BEAR TRUE FAITH AND ALLEGIANCE TO THE SAME; AND THAT I WILL OBEY THE ORDERS OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE ORDERS OF THE OFFICERS APPOINTED OVER ME, ACCORDING TO REGULATIONS AND THE UNIFORM CODE OF MILITARY JUSTICE.
SO HELP ME GOD."

Perhaps it is time that our elected officials are sworn into office with this oath.

That is an amazing Trifecta.

Not sure what this has to do with anything.

Saint Patrick, Saint Bonifas, Constantine etc. etc. were born as Pagans and later converted to Christianity. Are we now to consider them untrustworthy on that account.

I know Wes Clark, Wes Clark is a friend of mind. He is not untrustworthy to the best of my knowledge. But, I would never vote for him in a million years, and I believe him to be totally unsuited to be President of the United States.

Just Damn.

I guess they forgot the part about bringing it into the 21st century and improving it. We should write letters to all elective officials, with their oaths on it... daily until the carnage stops.

You claim Clark is trustworthy?

Can you tell me where you know him from and in what capacity and the reasons why you think he is unsuitable to be President?

Thanks for the info in advance!
