Some of the Nine Dwarves are trying to spice up their foundering presidential campaigns by blaming President Bush for the deadly bombing at the U.N.'s headquarters in Baghdad.
"Had the president pursued the war on terrorism prior to initiating military action against Saddam Hussein, as I advocated last year, it is likely that al-Qaeda and other terrorist networks would not have been able to take advantage of the chaos that now exists in Baghdad and other parts of Iraq," said Sen. Bob Graham, D-Fla.
"It is becoming increasingly clear each day that the administration misread the situation on the ground in Iraq and lacks an adequate plan to win the peace and protect our troops," said Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass.
The bombing "should also explode the illusions of postwar progress and stability the Bush administration continues to cling to. To achieve victory and a lasting peace in Iraq, we must directly involve the United Nations and commit greater force, more resources and stronger leadership," said Sen. Joe Lieberman, D-Conn.
These and other Democrats, of course, did not blame Bill Clinton for the American troops and foreigners slaughtered in his wag-the-dog wars.

There is an article on Opinion Journal, drawing the connection between terrorism and Iraq. Judging from some of the responses, it is also part of the Democrat talking points to claim that Bush brought terrorism to Iraq, where none previously existed.
You have to give the left credit, they sure are organized.

Some of the Nine Dwarves are trying to spice up their foundering presidential campaigns by blaming President Bush for the deadly bombing at the U.N.'s headquarters in Baghdad. When I hear Sen. Bob Graham, D-Fla, Sen. John (The French looking Ketchup Boy) Kerry, D-Mass. Sen. Joe Lieberman, D-Conn or Billary the Hitch talking about Bush did this, Bush did that Bush did not do whatever, I just think to my self, "Do you know how stupid you sound?"
Billary blamed Bush for letting the "Like new power grid get antiquated" in just under 3 years. There have not been any new, major power plants built in the U.S. since 1988. No new, major high voltage power lines have come on line since the early 1980s. That's new? How many people still drive 1980 model cars and expect them not to break down?

I'm talking about a hypothetical alien invasion from space.. It was Ted Nugent who said of the Left, "I can't believe these people belong to the same species as me!" Boy, was he ever right. They are just like a bunch of space aliens.

The sun didn't come up today. It's Bush's fault.
I banged my toe on my bed post last night. It's Bush's fault.
My toilet got stopped up and overflowed all over my bathroom. That's Bush's fault too.
What else can a Democrat blame on Bush?

Some of the Nine Dwarves are trying to spice up their foundering presidential campaigns by blaming President Bush for the deadly bombing at the U.N.'s headquarters in Baghdad. What is going on here? The dumbocRATs are blaming Bush (about ten posts earlier) and now this article. The media will be so screwed up with these conflicting stories, they will say there were no suicide bombings yesterday. Those stories were "fabricated" by the Bush administration to take away attention from the power outage last week.

These idiots don't even realize that Iraq has become the center for the war on terrorism. The terrorists, are for the first time, playing defense and protecting their home turf. Instead of planning attacks on America, they are too busy coelescing in Iraq trying to prevent a face-lift that could change their world forever. The war in Iraq is not a distraction from the war on terrorism...it has become a destraction for the terorists who must now defend the home-front. We can either fight this war in the streets of America or in their backyard. I prefer the latter. And at least this way we have a fighting chance since they are going up against the US military instead of innocent civilians. It is without doubt a bloody mess, but if we can get these terrorists in one location (Iraq) we have a better chance of solving this problem.

I don't completely agree with you. Terrorism is not limited to Iraq and the ones over there are not completely Iraqi defending their homeland. There are a large assortment of groups in there that do not live there, and were brought in because the Iraqi people, as a whole, do not want a war fought on their turf either. The only group gaining by this type of conflict is the Baath Party and Saddam. They have observed the Korean, Vietnamese, Balkan, Yugoslavia, Sumalia, and Haitian conflicts and they are of the opinion we will leave if we get enough headaches from them. And there seems to be a never ending amount of people willing to die for their cause (and will die).

They're not coming from space. Most of 'em are coming through that piece of Swiss Cheese we laughingly refer to as our "southern border." Sometimes I think we'd be better off if they WERE coming from outer space.
Close the borders NOW!
