JIDDA, Saudi Arabia — Crown Prince Abdullah said yesterday that the desert kingdom is locked in a "a decisive battle" against the "forces of evil," language that echoed the words of President Bush after the September 11 attacks.
"There is no room for neutrality or hesitancy," Prince Abdullah, who is Saudi Arabia's de facto ruler, said in remarks carried by the official Saudi Press Agency.

Some around here may try to downplay this, saying the Prince is only giving lip service to placate the US. But once cannot ignore the gravity of this statement. The fact he even spoke those words is evidence of a monumental shift in that country.
We'll have to see if he gets away with saying it.

Well golly. He should not have left a million of 'his noble people' in abvjectr poverty for 50 years. Coulda, woulda, shoulda done fixed that & they would not be so angry with him.
Coulda also not let so many give so much to so few-to run hate sckrools around the ME & spawn thousands of killer maniacs.

The man speaks a great deal of sense. The terrorists will probably take him out inside of two weeks.

Now that the royal family is threatened, they need to take things seriously.

Have heard Abdullah several times. I really like him but that is by "instinct". Wouldn't Usama love to have Saudi Arabia under his belt which includes Mecca. Weakening the Saudis with the USA would certainly help the Usama agenda.

"There is no room for neutrality or hesitancy," Prince Abdullah, who is Saudi Arabia's de facto ruler, said in remarks carried by the official Saudi Press Agency.I'll not believe a word from the Saudis until they stop financing their worldwide schools of hatred (madrassas), the Wahabbi mosques, and the PA terrorists.
Saudi money is clearly behind the foaming and drooling Islamists who have already ruined Pakistan, Afghanistan, Chechnya, and Bosnia; foment terrorism throughout the world; and threaten ralatively benign forms of Islam in Indonesia and the rest of Southeast Asia.
The Saudis need to have their butts kicked repeatedly and thoroughly in order to get serious about what they themselves have spawned across the globe.

"He who protects or sympathizes with a terrorist is himself a terrorist, and will receive his just punishment," he said. Sounds exactly like he is echoing the President of the United States. The Saudi's have, maybe, gotten the message. (Or are pretending to have absorbed it.)

9-11 Hijackers: A Saudi Money Trail?
By Michael Isikoff
NEWSWEEK WEB EXCLUSIVE
Nov. 22 The FBI is investigating whether the Saudi Arabian governmentusing the bank account of the wife of a senior Saudi diplomat sent tens of thousands of dollars to two Saudi students in the United States who provided assistance to two of the September 11 hijackers, according to law-enforcement sources.
[SNIP]
Sources familiar with the evidence say the payments amounting to about $3,500 a monthcame from an account at Washingtons Riggs Bank in the name of Princess Haifa Al- Faisal, the wife of Saudi Ambassador to the United States, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, and the daughter of the late Saudi King Faisal.
[SNIP]
Then this, from Joe Lieberman on 11/24/02:
"Fifteen of the 19 terrorists from Saudi Arabia. An increasing trail of money going from Saudi Arabia to the terrorists... either they have to change or the relationship we have with Saudi Arabia is going to change dramatically."
Or Richard Shelby on 7/31/03, from CNN's "Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer."
"There are a lot of high people in Saudi Arabia, over the years, that have aided and abetted Osama bin Laden and his group. And they've done it through charities, they've done it directly and everything else," Shelby said. "What we've got to do is find the truth."
You might just pick up Robert Baer's "Sleeping With the Devil" for more insight.
