Hannity station went dead for about 20 seconds. Said he had never seen anything like it.

It's hot out there -- lots of AC running, no doubt. A sudden shutdown of a major power plant would probably upset the grid something awful, especially if they've got transmission line problems, too.

Folks, terrorism or not, this is a big deal. Detroit TOTALLY without power, most of New York in the dark. THat is a LOT of people sitting in the dark. No TV, no radio, no internet, no email.
Looting? I'll bet the police are trying to contact all officers right now.

We can do this ourselves without help, thank youOne of my brothers mentioned back during the 90s, there was a very large blackout in West Texas, centering around a technician cleaning something and managing to knock out power to hundreds of thousands.
