If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

"When are they planning to send him home?" They don't know the exact date, Dianna.
Soon, though....

Well, folks, we've come a long way, haven't we? Together, hand in hand with our Lord.
NEVER in a million years would I have thought the day that I posted that first picture that this wonderful group of Freepers would rally around my friend's family. I am humbly in awe of each of you.
While we see SO MUCH BAD in this world, while we pray and pray and PRAY for all of God's children, we also see our own miracle called Logan. We see that prayer DOES work. We don't always like the answer, but in the end, we know that God has His hand in each of our lives.
Texas Cowboy, it's been my PRIVILEGE to have gotten to know you because of Logan. I can't thank you enough for all the work you've done with the pictures. And for being Nana's, Beth's, and LOGAN'S friend. Nana...what can I say? I'm SO PROUD OF ALL OF YOU I COULD BURST!!!
The Termite's gonna be just fine. Logan, my utmost prayer for you is for you to grow into a Godly man, serving your Lord and Savior. I pray that you will be a witness to ALL who come in contact with you. You've begun your life that way...I KNOW you're going to continue it that way.
To each of you who have posted, for your prayers, for your goofiness, for your faithfulness, for your passing Logan's name on to other prayer groups, for your advice....I thank you. Deeply and sincerely. God bless each and every one of you.
Logan....GO HOME!!!! :-)

Such beautiful pictures!
Seeing Logan, our miracle baby, looking so healthy and sleeping so peacefully after all he's been through, is an answered prayer.
May the good Lord continue to bless and protect him and his family in the months and years ahead.

"Logan....GO HOME!!!! :-)" LOL!
Thanks, BG! It's been my honor to have known and worked with you to keep the updates and pictures posted.
BOY! It's been quite a ride........so many peaks and valleys!
All I can see for Logan now is continued progress as he grows into a fine man sent on his way by the love and prayers of thousands of freepers.
Jesus said, "Ask and ye shall receive".
By the thousands we asked.
Thank you, dear Lord.

Thanks a bunch for all the lovely pix of our boy. He is a little angel. Brad's Gramma sent me a photo of Logan wearing the cowboy hat you gave him. It's precious. I'll bet he could take a bath in it!

That hat is kind of like that puppy.
It gives some perspective as to how tiny our boy is.
That's a small in a children's size, and he still has a long way to go before it fits.
He'll get there, one day at a time.
Thanks, stanz!

I can't believe how much he is progressed--doesn't look like the same baby. He is so cute and chubby--love those chubby little cheeks.
To: MeeknMing; Brad's Gramma
It takes a lot to bring a tear to my eye, Mr. Meek. This thread did just that. What a tiny baby . . .
I suspect we'll see another prayer thread when the boy turns sixteen and becomes eligible for a driver's license!

Thanks for the pictures! Prayer sent ...
