Prayer Request for A Tiny Baby (Update in post #12850)

If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. He’s the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.

Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2” long.

He’s a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that he’s starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.

I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious…and this is her reply…” A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.”

On a personal note, I’ve read the emails daily from my friend. I’ve known her for years, I’ve heard her talking about her family for years…but I’ve got to tell you that I’m SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.

Father God, we lift up Logan’s little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until he’s grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

I am praying extra hard today. I pray Logan's surgery is completed with the care of a mother to her newborn. I pray that Logan is healed from his injuries where needed. I Pray Mom and Dad Termite will be comforted by God's grace, knowing that all will be well in the long run.

It is so hard to see your precious baby in pain. I pray that the Docters are extra wise ,and the nurses who care for Logan will be extra kind to our little guy in his recovery.

Prayers continue for Jessie, Ryan, Sara Grace, the and for Richard to be returned to his mother and family. Continued prayers for Logan's friends in NICU , including the triplet who is surely in Heavan today.

Continued prayers for the Mom and Dads who love so much, hope so much and need so much. I am a parent of two young boys and my heart aches for the pain these parents face, and my heart soars for the love I know they hold for their babies.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the life that is Logan ... thank You that You have him in a place of extraordinary care ... we thank You that You have guided each member of his medical team and that they rejoice with his family, at each milestone.

May it continue to be so, most Gracious Lord, as they prepare for Logan's surgery tomorrow. Give to each one, wisdom and guidance beyond themselves ... be the hands of the surgeon and the breath in Logan's lungs and the warmth in his blood ... work in this team and through them to bring Logan successfully through this ordeal. Comfort those who watch and wait and hope and pray and worry ... may Your hand rest mightily upon Beth and Bud and their families ... and their extended families ... may they feel Your presence and may our prayers be refreshment to their souls.
