If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!
Prayers for Conner and his loving grandparents.
Oh, I am SO sorry.....
Thank you. I would encourage ALL care givers to get legal authority when you start, and while the other parties are amenable.
It would save a lot of heartache for the little ones.
Prayers up for a 90 day miracle for this little boy and the grandparents who love and care for him.
BTTT
Prayers up!
Passing it on.
Please do pass this on to any and all prayer groups\chains you know of..
What a rough beginning Logan had. Everyone so afraid and not knowing from day to day what would happen. Now look at this guy heading into Kindergarten!!! Yes, he truly IS a miracle. He looks so very happy to be going to school with all the other kids. What a fun time he will have and what new friends he will make too. Each project, song, poem, story he learns in school will be all part of God’s plan. The plan HE had for Logan while the rest of us were all praying so hard for this tiny baby to recover and move on with his life. Now he is.
You all look so very happy and rightly so. It was a real honor to pray for Logan’s recovery and now look at him and you all. So proud and happy and that puppy...my, my how he does shrink. That’s amazing. (wink, wink)
Good luck to Logan ... may be live long and prosper. He is destined for great things. I think he has a purpose in life not yet known to the rest of us. Just wish Texas Cowboy could have been there too to walk him to school. I am sure he is looking down though with a big smile on his face and proud as punch of Texas Termite.
Thanks, God!!!!!! :)
I agree....100%....
Cowboy? Yes, it IS too bad he wasn't here for this day....how sorely he's missed..
Thanks for the pics and memories!
How come whenever I look at pictures of little kids and babies the screen gets all blurry?
Think I’ll go visit my grandchildren right now.
BEAUTIFUL PICTURES!!! Good luck and prayers sent to the little guy on his journey to becoming a grown up.
I can't believe Logan is so big now.

First day of kindergarten too! Thanks for sharing that with us.
Hubby and I just came in from church and these pics were the first thing we saw when I got on the computer. We loved them, of course. : ) I always get such a kick out of seeing the “shrinking dog”. lol. Yes, he definitely has shrunk some more!
The pics of little Emelia are so adorable. She’s a cutey and really has the look going on with the sun glasses! Ha.
Logan, we love you and still pray for you and the whole family. We are so happy for your new venture into kindergarten. There are lots of new things to learn and do. We know that you will do well, and have fun, and continue to let that light of yours shine there and win many more hearts just as you have won ours.
((((Hugs)))) for you and little Emelia.
Neat. Thank you.
