If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. He’s the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2” long.
He’s a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that he’s starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious…and this is her reply…” A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.”
On a personal note, I’ve read the emails daily from my friend. I’ve known her for years, I’ve heard her talking about her family for years…but I’ve got to tell you that I’m SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logan’s little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until he’s grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

I can remember hour after hour of hitting refresh (on my DIAL UP MODEM!!)
Just waiting to see if there was an update from Nana..
And hoping that there was..but, being oh so fearful of WHAT it was...
The anesthesia during the hernia op..oh my GOSH!
Those were the BEST of times..those were THE WORST of time!
Truly..this “baby” will carry a place in my heart for the rest of my life...because if anyone ever questions that there ARE miracles..I will tell them about our Logan.
He reminds us all of what is truly important.

Oh what a thrill ... what a thrill to see this handsome little boy of ours growing up so healthy and happy. What a smile. What sparkling eyes. What cute clothes. What a long road that was for everyone ... remember? How could we ever forget seeing that tiny little baby hooked up to everything possible and the heartache his parents were going through wondering every single day what was going to happen as one thing went fine while another went south. But...thank God for His goodness and the prayers of so many, many people who were pulling and loving this baby to good health and by God...it happened. That tiny little squeak of a baby is now 6 years old. Happy, healthy, handsome and looks like he is so appreciative of all he has and all those who love him.
Thank you Brad’s Gramma for those photos and update. What a beautiful story in spite of all the ugliness around us in our country right now.
Thank you Logan for bringing such joy into the hearts of those of us who “grew” “cried” “prayed” and ached for you as well. You did it young fella and you did it BIG.
We’re proud...we love you and will always keep you in our prayers and will always thank our God for your presence here on this earth.
Take care little guy...be happy, have fun, always be a good boy for mommy and daddy because I think you will be someone important in the years to come and you are already someone very special to all of us.
