I know people need to hurry to get their breaking news posted first but I would personally like to see a more respectful headline. Call me silly (or whatever you like) but Mr. Hope deserves more from us than 'Bob Hope is Dead' in my humble opinion.

Froof that the good don't necessarily die young. Thanks, Bob, for everything!

I'll be lighting a candle for him tonight. He was one of my all-time favorite entertainers, and they don't make them like him anymore.

Godspeed, Bob - hope to see a show of yours in heaven someday.

Just think of all the military folks waiting for him, not to mention his old comedy buddies. What a reunion!

Maybe I'm stepping out on a limb here, but I can't think of a more deserving person for a full honors burial at Arlington as Bob Hope, even if he never served in the military he was hands down one of the best friends the US military ever had.

Thanks for the Memories.

His political/topical humor was the absolute best. So much of today's tv, movies, and music suffers from a lack of material, but that never happened to him. He knew the value of employing a large staff of writers and admitted that on many occasions. Smart, smart man.
