I just saw it on MSNBC. They said she was at a party a week ago, 3 days before Kobe was charged.
They said she was drinking (consumption by a minor) and playing cards, and was bragging about.....(MSNBC took out the audio at the end of sentence)
The story was confirmed by 5 people at separate places and times who were at the party and all gave a similar account of what happened.
When asked how the girl looked, the guy interviewed said she looked happy. Everyone was shocked to see her at the party given the incident.
I think someone may have even asked how hung was Kobe upon which she described with hand gestures. She seemed to be bragging according to a friend, but said she couldn't tell them what happened that night.
This just keeps getting better and better...

You are correct-no matter what the evidence-many people will believe Kobe is innocent.

If rape were decriminalized, women would behave differently. Holy crap. There's one for the home page...

If you can't attack an argument, attack the poster? Personally, I love to pick apart "convoluted arguments" but then I am not easily offended. Sorry if I hurt your feelings:not my intention.

or you really do think President George W. Bush (who espouses his religion in public) is "more to be feared" than Osama Bin Laden (terrorist at large). Ah, an explaination ... ok, that is a legitimate point. Pres. George Bush is held in check by laws and a system of checks and balances. However, history as well as the Middle East is chock-full of examples of religous zealots who kill, maim and torture other 'un-enlightened souls' in blind pursuit of their religion. Here in the bible belt, we have towns who feel so strongly about their religous beliefs that they have outlawed music, peace-symbols and alcohol. The reason they don't go any further than they do, is not because common sense is stopping them; but because the Federal law is.
So, if you live in Dallas/Ft. Worth area and want a beer to go with your pizza; sorry ... some person who is far wiser than you, has determined that you are not smart enough to take that responsibility on yourself.
The first Admendment in our counstitution grants freedom of religion; thus under this document Christianity, Buddish, Wicca, Islam and Satanism have equal legal footing.
Now, please tell me how this invalidates an opinion that Kobe Bryant is innocent until proven guilty? Why is questioning why a 'rape victim' who waits 12+hours before contacting the police isn't suspect?

Kobe is not O.J.Of course not. He's Bill Clinton. You haven't been paying attention?
To: Hildy
Remember the woman who sold her story to the "Enquirer" about seeing O.J. driving erratically at a Brentwood intersection moments after the murders?
She was never called to testify.

You know rape is very traumatic. I don't find it surprising that she waited to contact the police. Plenty of women don't even report rape. However, she went to the hospital immediately. Imagine if you are a 19 year old girl who has been raped and possibly beat up (injured somehow), you wouldn't want to talk about it. Rape victims are often embarrassed and blame themselves. It hard to come forward-look at some of these posts. The girl is being trashed-even by her so called friends.

I haven't read through all the posts, but did you hear last night that ESPN Radio reported that this girl and Kobe may have had an ongoing relationship?
Obviously this helps the defense, if true.

"If Kobe is not guilty, then she's not a victim. Got it? "
In fact, if he's not guilty then HE is the victim.

"You've almost convinced me. Perhaps if you used a slightly larger font, or colored your letters red. "
I think I'd be more convinced by large purple letters. I like purple.

You have yet to present an arguement! You post your assertions and ignore the facts in this case --- albeit few that they are.
Sorry if I hurt your feelings:not my intention.
Oh, please. I didn't figure you to be that naive.

He's Bill Clinton. No, Kobe's a 24-year-old adulterer, six years out of high school.
But he's not a rapist.
There are plenty of people who benefit by destroying every public black role model out there.
Same as it ever was.

I can't post facts. There aren't any. All we know is that Kobe is accused of rape. I don't know if it is true. There is an injury, but we don't know what it is. My only point is the girl is being trashed by unnamed sources and supposed friends: hardly credible or reliable sources. As for being naive, I like a good discussion, but I don't want to offend you or hurt your feelings. I like to keep things friendly.

"Do you think the Star prints truthful stories?"
If you pay attention you'll notice they get sued when the stories are false. They will also be more likely to hunt down dirt on the celebrity than the unknown person. So far, they've not printed anything that is on the shelves yet.
To: honeygrl
Good grief- a couple of weeks ago, they said aliens had landed. Must excuse me, need to get my tinfoil hat so they can't read my mind (just kidding).
Not every celebrity sues these rags. It cost a great deal of money to sue anyone. You have to prove the story was malicious-not just untrue.

If your friends don't even believe you and trash you, then what does that say about you?
To: honeygrl
How do you know these people are really her friends? They could be anyone looking for a few bucks or a little attention.
