You know rape is very traumatic. I don't find it surprising that she waited to contact the police. Plenty of women don't even report rape. However, she went to the hospital immediately. Imagine if you are a 19 year old girl who has been raped and possibly beat up (injured somehow), you wouldn't want to talk about it. Rape victims are often embarrassed and blame themselves. It hard to come forward-look at some of these posts. The girl is being trashed-even by her so called friends.

Really, do you know this; or do you believe this?? I have seen absolutely no reports of this fact. If she did this; then one is pre-disposed to believe her side of the story. However, from the reports I have heard/read; the victim waited 12 hours before deciding to do anything. The wait period causes me to question 'why'.
