A liberal friend of mine recently told me of her concerns about the Bush presidency. I will summarize what she said as they represent the results of the constant din we've been hearing from Democrats under the guidance of the DNC and their leaders.
1. Bush is arrogant for launching a war against Iraq, in opposition to the will of the United Nations.
2. Iraq has no weapons of mass destruction, and it is too small a country anyway to do any harm to the United States. 9/11 was not Iraq's action.
3. Bush lied when he said that Iraq was buying uranium to develop nuclear weapons.
4. The media is being controlled by right-wingers who are suppressing Democratic and liberal views and ideals.
5. Proof of the above: the media kept harping about Bill Clinton and sex day after day rather than about the real issues.
She would have continued on, but I countered every one of her arguments and she gave up in frustration.
But the point is that these points are being drilled in day after day into an often ignorant public. When that happens, assertions will become facts and false premises will become the truth. What can be done to not let that happen?

... such as selling nuclear secrets to the Chinese in exchange for campaign contributions.
The Dems use the same tactics over and over because they work. I am continually confounded by the lack of response; the 'fire fighting fire' response of the Repubs to use the same repetitious voice to counter the Democrat's propaganda.
One reason, perhaps, is that the 'voice' takes on the sound of just that, a 'voice of propaganda'; but seems the Repubs can hold to the voice of truth; but use at least some of the same MO. . .
The Dems are continually, day to day. . .changing/altering history; and there is no end in sight to their self-serving, deliberately dishonest/deceitful maneuverings. . .The truth has no relevance for these people; only their agenda, and they pursue it with an amoral ferver.
Only wish the Repubs would disarm them and their propaganda immediately; we take far too much for granted.
1. Bush is arrogant for launching a war against Iraq, in opposition to the will of the United Nations.
No Democrats complained when Clinton launched bombing strikes against Baghdad on the eve of his impeachment vote in 1998 -- with zero notice to anyone, including the UN, NATO or Congress. Democrats did not complain about Clinton's actions then -- in spite of the obviously transparent timing of the attack, which was clearly calculated to delay the impeachment proceedings until the next session when there would be more Democrats seated in the House. Incidentally, the bombing accomplished nothing with regard to discouraging Saddam;s mischief.
2. Iraq has no weapons of mass destruction, and it is too small a country anyway to do any harm to the United States. 9/11 was not Iraq's action.
The Democrats did not complain when Clinton (again without UN approval) engineered the 78-day wag-the-dog bombing of Belgrade that destroyed that city's infrastructure, including destroying every single bridge across the Danube. Many civilians in Belgrade were killed, and the Chinese embassy was bombed. Milosevic offered not the remotest conceiveable threat to the US, and we had no interests there.
3. Bush lied when he said that Iraq was buying uranium to develop nuclear weapons.
Although I think it is pretty clear Bush didn't lie, even if one grants that he did, the Democrats forget that they consistently excused Clinton's many documented lies by claiming: "All politicians lie." Moreover, Clinton's stated justification for the war in Kosovo was that Milosevic was committing genocide. Yet in spite of Clinton's allegations of more than 100,000 victims of Serb atrocities, no mass graves were ever found. Democrats did not complain that our country had been dragged into war under blatantly false pretenses.
4. The media is being controlled by right-wingers who are suppressing Democratic and liberal views and ideals.
Reuters won't use the term "terrorists" to describe the 9/11 hi-jackers, but has not problem referring to Iraq as a "quagmire."
5. Proof of the above: the media kept harping about Bill Clinton and sex day after day rather than about the real issues.
The media barely said a word about all of our nuclear secrets being sold, stolen or otherwise transferred from Los Alamos on Clinton's watch. The media never reported on the connection between Clinton's "Grand Escalante Staircase" in Utah, which basically made it impossoble for Americans to mine the low-sulphur coal there, and the fact that his documented (and illegel) financial supporters, the Riadys, held ownership of the world's only other significant suppy of low-sulphur coal in Indonesia. Peter Jennings opened a broadcast during the Lewinsky scandal by reporting on "Ken Starr's investigation into Bill Clinton's personal life."
When I meet a die hard liberal now, I simply tell them that there is no point discussing current events with them because they bring no credibility to the discussion.
They would rather be poor and except welfare than exert the effort to educate and better themselves. It is easier to accpet whatever they are given and beg for more.
There is no cure except eventual death.
One must ask whether Paula Jones was entitled to her day in court. Klinton and his thugs orchestrated a conspiracy to obstruct justice. Betty Currie did not accidently show up at Lewinsky's place to take possession of subpeonaed items. This part of the conspiracy was only of value if the conspirators were successful at getting Linda Tripp to commit perjury.
That was the key to obstructing justice in the Paula Jones case. Allowing the truth about Paula to come out, which it eventually did, was probably viewed as likely to lead to the revelations by people such as Kathleen Willey and Juanita Brodderick. Klinton's people knew exactly what they were doing and Democrats continue to give the guy a free pass to be a sexual predator.
Freepers could copy/print these; keep them on hand. Stick them on a windshield if known 'Lib' owner/driver; leave them on tables at Starbucks; place in Lib magazines at bookstores.
Or just stick them on mailboxes if necessary. . .a quiet, unobtrusive, stealth activism, to get the truth out. Does not preclude, of course, just speaking the truth when opportunity arises or handing your Lib friend a 'Freeper' response to the Demrats. . .
. . .seems like we must do something more to get the truth out; and maybe this would be a good Freeper endeavor and an easy one too. . .and perhaps a much valued activity given that the elections are coming up; and given the very desperate measures the Dems are/will be taking.
Any thoughts on this?

There is a considerable amount of information as well as resources offered at this site. . . .looking for specific counter-responses to the weekly blast of Democat 'talking points'. Do you offer any such point/on information - so to speak?
. . .would like to offer a weekly response to the Democrats on the web-site Free Republic; where I post. These points could be, in turn, printed/shared. . .ie placed on a windshield of a 'Lib's bumper stickered car perhaps, or just 'left behind' on a table at Starbucks or left in a Lib magazine at Barnes & Noble et al. . .or even forgotten at your Dentist office. . .or left behind in a grocery cart. . .wherever. . .
There are many, I think, who would be willing to participate in a 'quiet - unobtrusive' activism that would get the truth out quickly; the truth which counters the weekly lies of the Democrats. . .particularly important with elections coming up and Democrats cranking up their spin/lies/distortions to enable their agendas.
Any info/direction/availability re these, not just Republican Talking Points, but direct counters to the Democrat's 'interpretative analysis' would be appreciated.
A 'Freeper' could do this; but wanted to check to see if you - or perhaps another Republican site you know of - might have something in place already. If not, perhaps a good idea to offer these points for those who reach this site as well. Do not believe our Republican Reps out there do nearly enough of this in the Media.
Hope to hear from you re this effort. . .Thank You for your time. . .

There are of course, many observations here at FR, written well and worth sharing; does not just have to be 'talking points'; but do think countering these; as 'noDixieCan' did in her post; point by point is very helpful. So whatever we can do; let's do it :^)
Thanks, will keep looking for that response from RNC. . .surely they would not such a overlook a request and ignore a contributor! Right???
Not that we have to depend on them; but would be easier. . .and they need to have these points available anyway. . .:^#
