[history]
An autopsy is scheduled for today for a fetus found early Friday in the trash container of a west-central Fresno apartment complex. A resident of the Ashmark Arms apartments found the full-term female fetus wrapped in a blood-soaked bed comforter while he dumped garbage about 3:15 a.m., Fresno police Lt. Dennis Bridges said.

What the HELL is a full-term FETUS? It's a BABY! Say it. A BABY.
To: oceanperch
Let's say the baby was still born, there's still no excuse for dumping her in a dumpster. This is just too gruesome to contemplate.

I sent an email to these reporters asking about this. A "full term female fetus" is a BABY! Isn't it just infuriating when reporters do stuff like that? It's crazy and insulting to decent folks everywhere.

That was for the idiot reporters.
To: Saundra Duffy
Please re read my posts. Of course that is not a proper to dispose a body once a soul into a bin.
If there is a trust set up by a bank to have the child buried properly please contact our family.

Re: Autopsy set today for fetus found in a Fresno trash bin
What is wrong with you people? The body found in the dumpster was a dead female baby. What problem with that reality could possible lead you to sterilize the description by referring to it as a 'full term female fetus?' The proper use of the term 'fetus' would preclude it from being used to describe a baby which is beyond 8 weeks from conception much less one that had been born and abandon whether dead or alive.
In my opinion the use of the term 'fetus' as opposed to 'baby' designed to pander to NOW and certain other organizations and their support for the killing of babies prior to, and sometimes just after, they are born. Obviously these organizations don't want a human child called a baby unless the mother says it is no matter how old, irrespective of wether the baby is dead or alive. This way a human child could 'conceivably' be killed any time the mother chooses to have it killed.
...kind of transparent and grossly PC of you , don't you think?

I'm speechless. That ["full term female fetus"]
is the most horrid comment I've every read. That is beyond unfeeling, it is impossible to even technically justify the term "fetus" if that had been a live born baby. But ohhhhhh they can't even say "what appeared to be the body of an infant" or PP will jump on them like hair on an ape.

Prayers being offered for the soul of this poor, innocent victim. May she rest in eternal comfort and glory in the Arms of our Lord.
I will also pray for the end of ignorance of those who would call an infant child a "full term fetus."

What are ALL you people whining about?
It's just one dead baby!
Are you upset because the perp wasn't LICENSED!?!?!?
Or, because now, it puts raw facts in your face again?

Twenty-nine babies have been surrendered safely since the law went into effect in January 2001. Just this week, a newborn was surrendered at a Sacramento-area hospital. But 81 babies have been illegally abandoned, and 24 have been found dead, including the Fresno baby.
Yup: it looks like 'passing a law' has REALLY worked, hasn't it!
BTW, where are the threads for the OTHER 23 dead babies.....................

It's lucky for her that she doesn't think too hard about all the thousands of foetuses who are dismembered, burned with saline, or strangled, or have their brains sucked out every single day, otherwise she wouldn't have time for anything other than screaming. Yesterday EWTN aired a brief segment with the testimony of women who grieve over their aborted babies. I told my 8-year-old daughter to come over and listen to how sad these women were who "killed the babies in their bellies."
My daughter watched for a few seconds and said, "I'm glad you didn't do that to me dad."
It sent a shiver down my spine.
I took the opportunity to tell her that many people say that it's their body and their "choice." "What's wrong with that statement?" I asked.
There was a long, perplexed pause. Then I said, "They're not killing their own body, are they?"
Then she gave me a big smile and a big, "No, that's funny. I didn't think of that."

As one with the blood of abortion on my own hands, I sometimes wonder if any of us can be saved. If not for the promises our Lord made, a sane man could only feel despair. May God help us all.
