[history]
An autopsy is scheduled for today for a fetus found early Friday in the trash container of a west-central Fresno apartment complex. A resident of the Ashmark Arms apartments found the full-term female fetus wrapped in a blood-soaked bed comforter while he dumped garbage about 3:15 a.m., Fresno police Lt. Dennis Bridges said.

Amazingly, they published a follow-up story today that AGAIN refers to this full-term INFANT as a full-term fetus: FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Fresno police continued Monday to investigate the discovery of a full-term fetus found dead in a trash can at an apartment complex.
The Fresno County coroner's office completed an autopsy Saturday, but did not make the details public at the request of police. Police had asked no information be disclosed until they can investigate further.
The fetus was found by a man who was throwing out his garbage around 3:15 a.m. on Friday. He told police he thought the fetus, wrapped in a blood-soaked bed comforter, was a dummy until he touched it and noticed the blood.

My point is that there is something underlying the 'murder' cause; namely that being sin. (You musta missed it......)

And I often wonder how many children are discarded who go unnoticed in those green garbage bags.Me, too, now that you mention it.

Nope, heard that point. Are you saying THAT was your point about the 'what about the other 23 babies' and 'That talks about children. What about the unborn' posts? Glad you clarified, because it sure wasn't clear.

To leftists, a baby is considered a "fetus" right up until the time of birth.
To: Banjoguy
Not only is this disgust, but it points up the stupidity of the term "fetus". You know what "fetus" means in Latin? CHILD.

I sent the following Letter to the Editor:
"Okay, I admit it, I'm confused.
In their story in the July 12, 2003 issue of the Bee (Autopsy set today for fetus found in a Fresno trash bin), Louis Galvan and Roya Aziz refer to a "full-term female fetus." I'm confused...if the subject is full-term, how is it, by any loose standard, a "fetus?"
Of course, they may be using the actual, definitive meaning of the Latin word "fetus," which is "child."
But why do I doubt it?
Maybe the Bee can clear up this mystery..."
Anyone think it'll be printed?
To: MEGoody
I guess I'm not being clear.
I just was trying to emphasize the difference between 1 found, getting all this attention, and the others that merely slipped under the "media's" radar.
I'm GLAD that there are STILL people who are upset set over each individual victim; just that it appears hopeless to try and get MAINSTREAM Media (liberal college trained) to feel anything about it other than another snippet of sensationalized data.

Prayers for the poor baby - so unnecessary.
To: Saundra Duffy
The case is being investigated as a suspicious death. Does this mean that babies found in dumpsters in California aren't normally regarded as suspicious?
To: Saundra Duffy
Does California have a safe haven law?

that is why we need to inculcate a culture of life in our churches and schools (starting in kindergarten) and society in general. People tend to think of children as disposable items.
It's a shame that animals and turtle eggs are afforded more protections and rights than a human fetus and baby created in God's Image with a soul.
Genesis 9:3
Every creature that is alive shall be yours to eat; I give them all to you as I did the green plants.
Man:
Kill the humans (abortion) and save the Bears, the spotted owls, the Canadian Geese and the whales and don't crack that turtle egg!!
You can get fined up to $10,000 for messing with those eggs and baby-killing physicians get paid government and private money $$$ to kill humans! Go figure.

http://endangered.fws.gov/esaall.pdf Page 4 Sec 3 (c)(8) don't crack those eggs, one might end the "life" of a bird, fish or turtle. I guess certain "mammals" (humans) do not apply.
http://profs.lp.findlaw.com/endanger/endanger_6.html The Govt. recognizes that a fertilized egg from an animal is "alive" and protected by LAW (The Endangered Species Act of 1973) and when in a human, in God's image, it's just a blob of "unlive" protoplasm which can be aspirated if it's the mother's "choice" to do so with no protections under the 5th and 14th Amendments to the Constitution.

Matthew 18:2-5 -- Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me."

I guess I'm not being clear. no you're not! you're sounding like you assume no one thinks anyone other babies died that day, and that you want to get rid of any law that doesn't prevent crime... (which would be all of them)
Let people be sad for this baby. don't use this dead baby to make people feel guilty.

I doubt they will print your letter. The Fresno Bee is notorious for left-wing crap. But nice try. Thanks for posting her and for caring about this little baby girl.
