[history]
July 3, 2003 -- MICHAEL Savage has been permanently dropped from WABC' lineup following the collapse of West Coast contract talks that used the Bronx-raised blabber's beloved New York affiliation as leverage.
WABC (770 AM) abruptly yanked Savage off the air earlier this month in solidarity with its San Francisco sister station, KSFO, during noisy negotiations with Savage, who's based at KSFO but is syndicated by another company.

But not always. I listened to him from when he first went national until about a year ago. I loved him, but he devolved into a ball-less wonder and a shameless rubber stamp. So sorry to disappoint, but I just don't fit into your neat little category.

Now we've blown his cover or any semblance of anonymity he had heretofore. Keith (in Iowa) had FReep-mailed me the info, but thanks anyway. :-) Oh well, he's a big leaguer, he can handle it!

Rush is good but he rarely mentions any of those 3Pounding on the liberal demonRats and pointing out the continued error of there ways is a full-time job -
- AND IT'S FINALLY PAYING OFF NOW. You don't notice how FRANTIC they've become, how they're self-imploding?
Conservative Talk Radio would *not* be what it is today without El Rushbo ...

I just can't stand the empty scrotum syndrome pouring out of the radio. I can't feel sorry for guys who just let them drop out. You seem to favor penile humor, Thorondir. I never went through that phase, but, then, I am heterosexual.
If Rush does nothing but talk about golf for the rest of his radio career, he's done plenty for the conservative movement.

Rubber Stampbaugh probably doesn't rise quite to the level of vitreol, but I suppose the interpretations of such things are somewhat subjective, as is to be expected. I may have hit a special point of sensitivity with you. Sorry, but Rush is not my religion.
To: Thorondir
I loved him, but he devolved into a ball-less wonder and a shameless rubber stamp. Another shameless phallic reference.
Might I suggest crossword puzzles? They're great at improving one's vocabulary.

Keep struggling and you might convince somebody of that.
Heck, it's worth a try. 8o)

True, but now he's just a whimpy shill.

I loved him, but he devolved into a ball-less wonder and a shameless rubber stamp. THIS is much more a matter of *your* perception (you've become jaded, insensitive to the smaller factors that ultimately make a difference) than any real shift in Rush. It's also a symptom of waaaaaaay too much time surfing FR as a matter of fact ...
You also FAIL to note that he is/has been predicting the drastic actions if the democrats to a "T". NOONE ELSE has made and stood by predictions such as these 'cept Rush ...

You omitted Laura Ingraham. Perhaps you don't receive her show? Or Ollie North's?

Hmmm... Any guy WITH a pair will know the difference between a pair and a phallus. Check it out sometime. You might be shocked.
Anyway, Rubber Stampbaugh was once great and cutting edge, but he has degenerated into a useless weakling.
To: Dont Mention the War
The biggest reason I don't care for Savage is that he manages to cram 15 minutes worth of material into three hours.
To: Thorondir
I may have hit a special point of sensitivity with youI see one, in you, who is jaded and overly simplistic in his perceptions ... I would rather see one as you just drifting away as opposed to randomly spilling out vitriol on these pages ...
Democrat ...

If Savage's spiel isn't an act, then he is definitely a nutcase. I get embarrassed when listen to him.

I am a jaded, simplistic, heterosexual, scrotum filled to the brim with balls, hunky radio listening type of guy.
Can I join in this discussion?

LOL! Of course it's MY perception. What am I supposed to post here, YOUR perceptions? Perhaps if you email them to me I can just post YOUR perceptions. Hey! Why don't you just email YOUR perceptions to all of us and we can just stop putting OUR opinions and perceptions up here and post YOURS from now on. And tell that insignificant Jim Rob guy to rename this forum as the _JimRepublic
LOL!
To: Archie Bunker on steroids
"Do you want a Rush clone? No, we need a little variety and I enjoy Savage."
That makes two of us. He is hilarious at times.
