Welcome to the First Annual Free Republic Lightning Storm – an online display of natural and man-made fireworks and patriotic images – in anticipation of the Fourth of July and the safe return of all of our Servicemen and women on tours of duty around the world.

Most every community in America celebrates the Fourth of July with Fireworks in some fashion. Free Republic is an on-line community and this tradition should be no different. That’s why we decided that the Free Republic needed it’s own on-line Fireworks display to honor America, Freedom and those who sacrifice to protect it.

We hope you enjoy this tribute to the United States of America…

her Golden Shores

her Scales of Justice

her sense of humour

her open arms

Our Grand Lady Liberty 

my Grandmother met as she came through the gates 1899...

Freedom to worship as one pleases or not to.

To have people from every nation

of the world living free within her borders...

For the opportunity to achieve great heights if one wishes

I am proud to be an American...

to say The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag

to honor her COLORS and treat her with care...

I am proud of her, my nation, my homeland...

AMERICA the LAND of the FREE and the BRAVE.
