.
AMAZINGLY -- today SUNDAY -- I can't believe this -- but a crown sales guy justemailed that Ann Coulter's new book TREASON is neck and neck with the Hildabeast's turgid tome !!!!!
AND old Brown Eye has had 7 days of sales this week, Coulter only 5.
Plus a lot of bookstores don't have TREASON on the shelves! (or are hiding it.)
it's the last day of the week for book sales . . . wouldn't it be nice to see Ann butt the double-wide off the list?
If you have the time TODAY ..... it couldn't be spent more wisely than to go down to your local bookstore and start your Christmas shopping early with a couple of copies of TREASON
It's the least we can do for the Hilldabeast ..... and of course Ann
send a copy to a young mind in college.

You deserve a lot of credit for your intellectual journey. And you are right, Clinton was merely the latest in a long line of Democrats who did not take threats to our national security seriously. It did indeed start with FDR -- some would even say Wilson, but Wilson did at least hate the Commies, unlike FDR who was very happy to work with them.
Even when the Dem himself may have had some concept of national security issues -- like Truman or JFK -- in both cases they were still liberals who surrounded themselves with leftist eggheads who either were Reds themselves or were sympathetic to them. So the result was the same. Anyway, it is heartening to see people like you -- and I think there are millions more out there -- who started out Dem but were honest enough with themselves to see where that was leading. Many times, people just need to be exposed to the other point of view.

You've got it, Unc. Her most important service here is just getting the topic out there for discussion. Let the Libs know this isn't settled dogma like they want to make it.

The bookstore I went into yesterday had Ann's book right next to "double wide"'s (love that term for HRC!), which I was pleased to see. However, there were not one but two displays of desk calendars mocking GWB with "Bushisms" crowded around the cash register. The bookstore just can't let the buying public think for a moment that they're conservative!

I am ashamed to admit this, but I laughted at my Dad who always said McCarthy was correct. I considered him a dupe of the red scare nuts. He said McCarthy saved the world from communism. By God (as always) he was right.

I went into a Borders in the Cincinnati area last night (Colerain for you locals). There was a large bookshelf display for Treason right as you came in the front door. There was sign displayed saying that they were temporarily sold out but that copies could be reserved.
As you got further back there were plenty of copies of Lying History for 30% off.
It warmed my heart.

Thank you for the kind words, but I feel like a fool. Why did I take liberal spin for dogma. I could have made an effort to inform myself and spent a few less years in the useful idiot category. I take no credit for my awakening. My husband gently pointed me in the right direction. He listened to Rush and other conservatives. He received the Weekly Standard. I was exposed to conservative thought. When I found Free Republic, I learned even more, but I still held onto the belief that Clinton was to blame for the Democratic Party's less than ethical ways. Now, I can see the Democrats didn't really change; there is no old Democratic Party and Modern Democratic Pary. There is only one Democratic Party which has caused incalcuable damage to this country. I was completely wrong about everything.

Sounds like you two need to call or make another trip to these bookstores to have a conversation with their management. Please don't let them get away with sabotaging the sale of this important book. Find your voices and use them on management, not the clerks.

Go Ann!
I bought the book two days ago and it is excellent. The book is pure red meat, no fluff, not one wasted sentence -- just what we've come to expect from Ms. Coulter. I'm aghast at how McCarthy was slandered by the liberal weasels. If my wallet weren't so chronically thin, I'd have bough three or four more copies to give as gifts (and to torment the Marxist sales clerks).
To: Moonmad27
The bookstore just can't let the buying public think for a moment that they're conservative! Bluntly speaking, it is my considered opinion that most bookstore owners/managers hold the conviction that conservatives can't read. You know, we drag our knuckles as we walk, etc etc etc.
But doggone it, they should finally figure out that conservative books outsell the liberal pukings by quite a margin.

Fathers know best! You're lucky to have a dad who never fell for the slandering and mischaracterization of McCarthy.
I'm friends with a woman who is my mother's age. She's always used the phrase, "God bless Joe McCarthy. He alone set communism back forty years." The scary part is that most people think because the cold war is over, there aren't anymore communists. WRONG!!! Take a look at the democrat party, which is full of communists and socialists. They'll never go away. They just need to be defeated in a never ending battle. We have to be ever viligant and never forget what their goals are.

My 90 yr old mom has been saying the same thing ever since she moved in with me in Nov. She has been a life-long dem, but she cannot stand the current leadership. She even yells at the TV when the dems begin saying Bush is lying. She is planning to reregister as a Republican, and plans to vote for Bush.
She told me the other day that her dad (also a life-long democrat), would be turning over in his grave if he could see what the dems are doing today.
Thanks for your statement, she will be comforted to know she's not the only one who sees this truth.

Hmmmm? If you have the courage - confront the managers where you can be heard. Sometimes when ONE person steps forward - that's all it takes to embolden others to step forward and also inquire about the book.
