Go With God Senator Thurmond. A Prayer in Hebrew.
Personal Reflections | June 26, 2003 | PeaceCorpsGuy

Posted on 06/26/2003 8:25:33 PM PDT by PeaceCorpsGuy

The Jewish tradition mandates us to recite the Mourners Prayer or Kaddish following the death of a family member or friend. The theme of Kaddish is rather the Greatness of God as a being. In Memory and in Honor of Senator Thurmond, I urge us all to pray for the late Senators family.

Hebrew Version: Yisgadal v'yiskadash sh'may raho, B'olmo deev-vro birusay, v'yamloch mal-busay, Bh-yah-boh uvyo-mayhon, uv-ha-yahd' hol hays yisrael, Ba-a-go-lo u-vizman ko-reev, v'im-ru omayn.

Y'hay ah'may ra-ho m'vorab, l'olam ul-ol-may-yo. Yisborah v'yish-tabab, v'yispoar v'yisomamm V'yis-na-yah, v'yis-hadar, v'yisaleh, v'yishalal sh'may d'kud sho b'rib hu;

L'ay-lo min kol bir-ho-so v'shee-roso, Tush-b'ho-so v'ne-heh-mo-so, da-a-mee-ron b'ol-mo, V'lim-ru Amen.

Y'hay sh'lo-mo ra-bo mon sh'ma-yo, V'ha-yeem o-lay-nu v'al kol yisrael b'im ru Amen. O'se shalom bim-ro-mov hu-ya-asay shalom O-lay-nu v'al kol yisrael v'im-run Amen.

In English: Glorified and sancitifed be God's great name throughout the world which He has created according to His will. May He establish His kingdom in your lifetime and during your days, and within the life of the entire House of Israel, speedily and soon; and say, Amen.

May His great name be blessed forever and to all eternity.

Blessed and praised, glorified and exalted, extolled and honored, adored and lauded be the name of the Holy One, blessed be He, beyond all the blessing and hymns, praises and consolations that are ever spoken in the world; and say Amen.

May there be abundat peace from heaven, and life, for us and for all Israel; and say Amen.

He who creates peace in His celestial heights, may He create peace for us and for all Israel; and say Amen.

Of all the things Strom accomplished, his last day in the Senate impressed me the most. He deservedly chatised Lehey (sp?) in front of the whole Senate and the country.

No kidding? Spent his last minutes on the floor of the Senate, flogging a leak-crazy, camera-chasing, selfrighteous Yankee senator? Wait, where have I seen this movie before?

John Calhoun would be pleased, I think.

He supported his mulatto daughter with honor.

Mulatto daughter? Strom? I think I missed something.

And who will deliver these statements? In the old days, it used to be his fellow senior senators who would be at the front of the line on public comments when another statesman died. Politics were involved, but they at least tried to appear they were trying to be civil and decent. Expect Hitlery to try to horn her way out front by hogging the spotlight, showing her lack of class once again. She owns the Democrats.

And who will deliver these statements?

I'd like to see Trent Lott get up and tell everyone that he knows for a fact that Strom would have made a better President than any a**hole liberal alive today.

Thanks for the prayer!

The LORD bless and keep Senator Thurmond. His like we won't see again. He was a product of his times, but since his times covered 100 years, any one-issue depictions of him are liberal lies. May we all see him again!

i believe John C Calhoun, Wade Hampton, Maxcy Gregg and a host others of the grayclad throng met Strom at the pearly gates and that Strom slept in the sheltering arms of the Lord last night;that's a GRAND place to be.
