My neighbor has a daughter that is a possible run-away. No Amber Alert has been issued as of yet. Your prayers and watchfullness are needed.

The girl is missing from North East Kansas: She is: Sheila Hillis DOB: 06/14/86 16 Years Old White Female Long brown hair 5'6" & 105 lbs.

She is possibly with her boyfriend who is driving a 1988 red Honda Prelude, KS tag UIG040.

She may be using her first name of Lynn as a possible alias.

She is thought to be heading to the San Antonio, Texas area.

She may be in Kansas, Oklahoma, or Texas.

Any help and prayers you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

I think that the Amber Alert is a great system, but they don't use it for runaways. They use the Amber Alert for kidnap victims.

We lift up Sheila to You and pray that You would turn her back toward home. Convict her heart in a powerful way so that she understands Your will for her. If she is with her boyfriend, we pray that You would cause him to be unable to continue driving further away. Please give them the courage to call home. Place Your hedge of protection around them and help them to choose Your way instead of their own. Be with them, Lord, and protect them through the darkness of the night. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

As a former runaway, I understand the pain of all concerned.
Do not ask for an Amber Alert for a known,willing, runaway.
Not the same situation.
Not even close.
Do not try to "ride" on the Amber Alert system to resolve this problem.
I hope she is found soon, for the sake of all who love her.
But this is not an Amber Alert.
