Don’t Miss this FUN & EXCITING Evening! This is a FREE event!

Nationally Renowned Second Amendment Activist
and Advocate for Homeless Veterans

Ted Hayes

Mr. Hayes will speak to us on how we ALL can more effectively communicate our message of Freedom, Rights, and Responsibilities in order to sway Public Opinion to our way of thinking, and make the General Public aware of WHAT the Second Amendment IS, and WHY it is so VERY IMPORTANT to EVERY resident of our state.

"ATF Night" (A Pro-Gun Social Event)

6:30 PM No Host Cocktail Hour / 7:30 PM Program Begins

The San Gennaro Cafe (Banquet Room)

9543 Culver Blvd., Culver City, CA

FREE ADMISSION

(A Voluntary Donation to cover our overhead is requested, but not required).

What is "ATF Night"? No, we're not the federal gun control agency. We are a social gathering of Second Amendment and liberty activists and leaders who meet monthly to discuss firearms-related issues over (optional) adult beverages and dinner, and afterwards, those so inclined may choose to step outside to continue discussions while enjoying a fine cigar - hence the name.

Originally hosted by The Lawyers' Second Amendment Society, the meetings have continued thanks to the leadership assumed by John Brantuk, Republican Nominee for the California State Assembly (see www.BrantukForAssembly.org)

You don't have to be an activist to join us - newcomers and the curious are always welcome.

And admission is always free.

Hosted by California Assembly Nominee John Brantuk

Telephone: (562) 698-2870

I'll take you up on that offer.

Probably will be awhile though. I've never been west of Texas.

That said, are you going to be at SAF's GRPC this year(September)? It's in Houston. I'm going to TRY(operative word) and make it. I was at the 2001 GRPC in Cincy.

"Bush and Hillary to Visit Southern California"

Posted by the ChronWatch Founder, Jim Sparkman
Tuesday, June 10, 2003

Mark your calendars!
The GOOD, and the BAD/UGLY are apparently
BOTH coming to southern California this month!

1 - We still do not yet have OFFICIAL confirmation of
President Bush's visit to Century City on FRIDAY afternoon/evening (6/27) at 6 pm - but UNOFFICIALLY, we are confident that he will be there, and that security will be INTENSE.
More details soon, when we find out where the Secret Service wants US to gather, and where they want the "bad guys."

2 - Hillary Clinton WILL be at Vroman's in Pasadena on SUNDAY morning (6/29) at 11 am.
We have not yet determined exactly how to "welcome" the junior Senator from New York to our fine state of California, but I am certain that we will think of SOMETHING...

For more information, see the threads on Free Republic (where ELSE?) :

[but FReepers (and friends) will be there to counter them, and support the President]

Protest: Bush in Los Angeles

Fri, Jun 27, 6 pm
Century Plaza Hotel
2025 Ave of Stars
Century City

Bush will be here for a fund-raiser. Let's be in the streets by the thousands protesting the Bush program of war, occupation, racism, and tax give-aways to the rich.

Store Events - June 29, 11:00 AM

Time: Sunday, June 29, 2003 11:00 AM
Title of Event: SENATOR HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON with her book Living History

Here is what we can tell you now:
1. All books must be purchased at Vroman's on the day of the event, or you may call ahead and reserve a book to pick up after the event is over.
2. The books will be signed before the event. (We have been assured that they are hand-signed, not autopenned).
3. The procedure for getting a book and meeting Senator Clinton will be as follows:

a) Come into the store and pay for as many copies of the book as you would like (at this time there is no limit).
b) You will be given a voucher indicating the number of books for which you have paid.
c) Join the line outside the building
d) When your turn comes you will get to say hello and shake hands with the Senator (at this time we have no details about whether or not photography will be allowed)
e) Then you will hand your voucher to a store employee who will hand you the proper number of books.
This will be her only Southern California booksigning.
Crusty Black Pantsuit ALERT!
(Have fun, but play safely and obey the law.)

Culver City is a tad bit of a drive for me here in the San Francisco Bay Area! ATF nights sound like a great time. Hmm. Maybe I can see about arranging something like that here...
