Setting the Record Straight (An open letter to Hillary Clinton)
National Review Online ^ | June 12, 2003 | Dick Morris

Posted on 06/12/2003 6:16:09 AM PDT by rockinonritalin

Dear Hillary,

In your new book, Living History, you correctly note that when you asked me to help you and Bill avert defeat in the congressional election of 1994 I was reluctant to do so. But then you assert, incorrectly, that my reluctance stemmed from difficulties in working with your staff. You even misquote me as telling you: "I don't like the way I was treated, Hillary. People were so mean to me."

As you know, I never said anything of the sort. I had, in fact, no experience in dealing with either your staff or the President's at that point, and had not yet met Leon Panetta or George Stephanopoulos. My prior dealing with Harold Ickes had been twenty five years earlier.

The real reason I was reluctant was that Bill Clinton had tried to beat me up in May of 1990 as he, you, Gloria Cabe, and I were together in the Arkansas governor's mansion. At the time, Bill was worried that he was falling behind his democratic primary opponent and verbally assaulted me for not giving his campaign the time he felt it deserved. Offended by his harsh tone, I turned and stalked out of the room.

Bill ran after me, tackled me, threw me to the floor of the kitchen in the mansion and cocked his fist back to punch me. You grabbed his arm and, yelling at him to stop and get control of himself, pulled him off me. Then you walked me around the grounds of the mansion in the minutes after, with your arm around me, saying, "He only does that to people he loves."

I continued to work for Bill since I felt a responsibility to do so until Election Day in 1990. But our relationship was never close and never the same. After the 1990 campaign we parted ways as a direct result of the altercation.

When the story threatened to surface during the 1992 campaign, you told me to "say it never happened."

That, and not the invented conversation in your memoir, was the reason that I was reluctant to work for Bill again.

Yours,
Dick Morris

My thoughts too. Guess Dick believes Juanita.

OK. If that's so, then explain to me why this man worked to keep a psychopath in the White House.

I find Morris entertaining, but don't put too much stock in what he says or does, simply because he has no judgment or patriotism.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize there was a new book. Any idea what it's about?

She just stands there and says a whole lot of nothing while her opponents attack her for what she really is, only she is careful never to show who she really is in public (except on extreme rare occasions).

You notice how Hillary gets bug-eyed sometimes when she talks, just like Jimmy Carter used to do during speeches?

Anybody know the "body language" significance of that? (I've always assumed it means: I'm telling another whopper!)

I've heard the story before...but it also speaks volumes about Morris, unfortunately, that he would go back and work for this nutjob again.

Maybe because he wanted to live? (Doesn't excuse a poor decision, but it may explain it.)

As a matter of fact I heard Morris on Hannity's radio show earlier this week.

Morris stated flatly that he does believe Juanita Broaddrick, that Clinton is a rapist. I was a little surprised to hear him be so direct.

I hope Dick's minding after his health.

See, see was making excuses for him back then.........LOL.

One fact the Clintons like to skim over is that scandal didn't "happen" to the Clinton when they arrived in D.C.; his entire career in Arkansas was one scandal after another. Of course, she never even acknowledges that.

Knowing what Clinton did in the Oval Office sink, it's not hard to imagine him beating Dick in the governor's mansion.

Oh, believe me, I don't. He claims to have since seen the light. Dick Morris is the very definition of "guy you can't trust."

Yeah, Bill always felt people's pain. Too bad that Mrs. Clinton wasn't around to help Juanita Broadrick when Bill was doing his love thing with her.

This sickens me even more than ever before. If Dick Morris had the presence of mind to report the altercation to the proper authorities, and I wonder if he knew deep down that if he did report Clinton's physical attack Dick would find himself departing from life, the American public would see the truth behind the carefully controlled masks that hide the megalomaniacal minds of these two power grasping, control freaking socialist pig sickos.

This incident is not as minor as it may seem. Taken in context with the rest of his life's record, it is yet another confirmation of his deep clinical sociopathy.

We should work diligently to ensure that neither of these two malevolent dangerous rodents ever again scurry anywhere near the White House.

There is nothing humorous about selling to the ChiComs the latest nuclear weapons technology (W-88 warhead design details)- on a par or even worse than the damage done by the Rosenbergs et al.

Never mind the rapes etcetera, he and her heinous should be seriously investigated for treason. There is no statute of limitations here. Go after the jugular, not the capillaries.
