Anybody else out here think that if this tape is out there, it is because Hillary! put it out there? She's about to start the great Beatification/Book Tour for Living History. What better way to boost interest in the book and in herself than to have salacious tapes of Bubba floating around?

The 75% of people who know for sure that Bubba stepped out on Hillary! will not be more sure after seeing a tape. And the 25% in denial can get into fits of moral indignation about yet another example of character assassination against their heroes, the Clintons.

And Bubba would like nothing better than to have us all looking at his exploits. He's that much of an exhibitionist.

Video? Hmmmm. Hillary's trying to get her hands on it so that VH1 can "edit" it for her. They did such a good job on her NYFD video after 9-11.

The Enquirer sensationalizes things, but they also have the most thourough research and verification in the industry, bar none. Every story is reviewed by their lawyers.

Trust me when I tell you from first hand knowledge that they won't run with a story, even repeating someone else's allegations, unless they thouroughly verify that the allegations are true. And by verify, they want things like videos, tape recordings or photos. I know personally know of a story where the person who made the report had a great deal of information that provided strong circumstantial evidence that she was telling the truth. She even agreed to a polygraph. There were phone records that proved part of the story. She had facts about an event that could have been obtained only by someone who was there. She had a photo proving she was at the scene. But the Enquirer refused to publish it without photos of the event.

The days os the Enquirer making up stories is long gone.

I think its true. Normally tabloids like The Enquirer are fodder journalism with stuff inside no educated person would read but it can't get any worse than the NYT. And knowing what we know now about Bill Clinton's character, I think its credible. The man has a huge sexual appetite. There's no reason to believe he learned anything from his dalliance with Monica.

Should this be true, what makes anyone think this will hurt her career? After the myriad scandals that both Clintons were involved with (some of them implicating Hillary such as Whitewater and the ridiculous commodity trade) it is very apparent that those who still revere Hillary don't put any importance on character...

I think that a lot of people, even Clinton-lovers, are tired of all of the scandals, especially the sexual ones, surrounding him. I can just hear a lot of people saying "do we really want four more years of this?". I hope Hillary's people urge her to divorce him.
