Defense sources told NBC News that investigators hired by the defense have identified 'four or possibly five people' who they believe actually killed Laci Peterson.
The sources, who spoke with MSNBC's Dan Abrahms on condition of anonymity, said they obtained the names of the suspects, who they say have been involved in satanic activity from a mystery witness.
The purported 'suspects' were seen in the Modesto California neighborhood where the Petersons lived on the morning of her disappearance, the sources said.
One of the male suspects is believed to have a '666' tatoo-a symbol for the devil, they said.
In addition to having their investigators search for the suspects, the defense purchased the car on which some of the individuals had stopped making payments and then put out an alert for 'repo men' -hired property recovery specialists-to seek the vehicle.

I am not sure what you mean by Geragos spin on Amber Frey doing a Playboy layout. Do you think he is lying about that? I'm saying that the reports today about her being offered a deal to do Playboy are lies.......and I believe he's the one spreading them.

As Jeffrey Feiger (heaven forgive me for quoting HIM) said, "If there WERE real cult killers, the minute Geragos announced he was looking for them, they are LONG gone!"I guess he would know about cult-killer behavior, wasn't his client one?
These guys are too much!

"But I heard somebody saying on the screaming head shows last night that the DA still might decide he'd rather go the grand jury route."I misunderstood what you had said before. I thought you meant after the preliminary hearing they could still go before a Grand Jury.
I would presume that before a Preliminary takes place they could change their minds and ask for a Grand Jury, but then on the other hand since it appears the Judge said Preliminary, can they change their minds?

The only possible way Scott could know who killed Laci and Conner if it was not him who did it is if he was indirectly responsible for Laci's and Conner's deaths, i.e., he was unable to repay loansharks; he messed with some bad folks in a drug deal; he himself was dabbling in that underworld religion that does not serve God (I refuse to even mention the name of it), etc.

LOL, Geragos ought to hang with is client for the crime of insulting the intelligence of the American people.
And that is not easy to to do.

You said, "tomorrow at the scheduled hearing".
Now you're saying "mostly pre-trail stuff for Mid July".
I do believe the judge is supposed to rule tomorrow on the gag order - but it doesn't take a hearing to have a ruling. And ... I hope he does impose the gag order.
Here in San Diego, during the Westerfield trial, Judge Mudd invoked a gag order and it did help to stop the poisoning of the jury pool. We ended up with a great jury and they did an absolutely supurb job.

Well, I heard this evening they are sure the DA will request the Death Penalty. In Calif. there is a law that considers the killing of a fetus, (other than an abortion)as a murder.
Therefore since Laci was killed and as a result the fetus was killed this was considered a double murder and If I recall the DA met with Laci's family and some other's before they decided to ask for the death penalty, which I think they said they have decided they would.

Say what? What are you talking about? I think he's saying that even if he were mad enough to kill his wife, he wouldn't also kill the baby.
It doesn't appear that Scott Peterson felt that way. Or maybe he did.
