A new report argues that chimpanzees are so closely related to humans that they should be included in our branch of the tree of life. Chimpanzees and other apes have historically been separated from humans in classification schemes, with humans deemed the only living members of the hominid family of species

I think that's the idea.

And then there's the crack about an Eloon "taking the high road". By hook or crook they aspire to be us, while condemning the same. More proof that their real anger is directed at religion in general or the mental anguish of lacking any themselves. Yes, they will speak of the "high road" followed by an untruth that creationists don't answer questions. Perhaps he meant that they don't answer questions the way he would like them answered. Nonetheless, you are correct. There are many who find the existence of a Creator personally inconvenient.

You addressed your post to me and you accused my side that implies I am part of that side. I am completely right to respond to a post directed to me That is quite a stretch since only one poster was mentioned, but then so is evolution.

I think the anger at creationists is directed more toward the fact that Evolutionists see creationists as being willfully ignorant, and either unable or unwilling to fathom basic science. That's what I like about you humble intellectuals. You claim to be superior to creationists but exhibit the reasoning power of an adolescent. Your statement above has at least 3 flaws it it. So using your measure, were the flaws deliberate or did they flow from ignorance? Hint: I don't think you even know what the flaws are.

ALS:
"Neither case is true. I have an IQ(at last check) of 167." YOU:Please if you wish to not be attacked don't claim the high ground by stating unfounded assertions about your intellect.
YOU AGAIN: Evolutionists see creationists as being willfully ignorant, and either unable or unwilling to fathom basic science.
You have done the very thing of which you accused ALS. Do you have a lower standard for yourself than your opponents? That is called hypocrisy.

Me:
"WRONG answer! You're good at slinging mud but you can't take it! Furthermore, you are about to prove my point." Aric:You just prove that IQ is not everything, because without knowledge, even the smartest of people are ignorant. And you are the poster boy for such a statement.
I am a prophet.

First step to affording Chimps HUMAN rights, then marriage with humans, after a few years of lawsuits legalizing beastiality, then there own TV shows, American Primate Idol. Ahhh.....left-wing ideas just soooooothe the soul.

I think God made chimps just enough like us to take our pride down a few notches. Also, he anticipated our need for comical figures for greeting cards - again, to take our pride down by comparing the person being "honored" to the playful primate on the front.
It was a great plan.
To: kkindt
Er, ummm, except that no matter what, they are not human and we are not chimps or apes, don't care how it gets spun! Just plain dumb and dumber feeling their oats again, right?
Jane Goodall's hello from chimps in chimp language is the real convincer, no matter how much Hillary is a sound alike.

Can you please tell me how Evolution started?
Thank you
To: Dataman
When did YOU decide that I did not believe in a creator?
I have never said that I do not believe in a creator.
Ahh, that's right, since I agree with evolution, I must be an atheist, that's right.
Such ASSumptions you make, no wonder you are what you are.

You need to quit with the grammar stuff and learn some science stuff.
But then again, a creationist is WILLFULLY ignorant about science, because if a creationist actually learned about science, he might no longer be a creationist.
Can't have that.
Ahh yes, to a creationist, ignorance is bliss, you guys must be some of the most blissful people around.

Projectionism, boy, now he thinks he's a shrink.
First he CLAIMS to have an IQ of 167, now he claims that he's a shrink, wow, what else can he claim without proof?
Oh, yeah, evolution is crap, that's right, that's something else he has no proof about either.
I love clueless creationists, can't answer simple questions.

Aric disagrees.
I side with science.

No I am not on drugs. Maybe with a little LDS I could understand your post ! Don't bring Latter Day Saints into this debate
:)
To: Dataman
The law that states that, is a general law, not an absolute.
Again, it is too bad that creationists have to misrepresent science in order for it to agree with them.
Science says this, but if we change this over here, it will change the meaning and we can use it against them.
Sorry, words mean things Dataman, and science says certain things.
When you have to twist it, such as creationists do, in order to make it fit what you THINK it should say.
Well, you are the one who woulld seem to have a problem.
Then again, honesty in a science debate has never been all that important to a creationist either.
You are living proof of that, oh and your buddy G3K is a PRIME example of that as well.
