Greg Jarret Dumps on a Hamas Spokesman!
Posted on 05/19/2003 11:41:39 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55
Greg Jarret just interviewed the spokesman for Hamas and he ripped into him...at times getting emotional. Now I've seen Greg's work before and I always thought he was a liberal? Has he switched teams? Or was this an acting job?
Greg "Sir you say Hamas stands for courage, but it does not. Hamas stands for cowardice in its worst form. I've been to your bombings and seen the ripped flesh of innocent civilians."
"Sir are you going to continue your reign of terror on the innocent civilians of Israel? Will you not be satisfied until Israel is pushed into the sea? Isn't it true you want Abu Mazzen to fail????"

Finally somebody is willing to confront these people and expose their stupid remarks.
Just for the record - Israel is not on their land! GOD gave this land (and lot of the surrounding territory) to Abraham.

Great job! Thanks!
Jarret: "...The Hamas covenant of 1988 - here's what is says in the first paragraph: 'Israel will exist until Islam will obliterate it'...?"
Shanab: "You are working hard to research this hard...please look at the ground and don't look at the words in the books - this is not the reality - we want to live in peace -
Can be translated as, hey, are you going to believe your eyes or what I tell you!

>>Well, this is refreshing! Jarrett came off as quite biased when he was at MSNBC during the 2000 Election. Maybe Fox is rubbing off on him just as it seems to have worked its magic on Greta :).
What you see of these people on camera is more a product of what the produceers hand them than the people themselves - before each segment, they get a chance to read-up on what the producers have gathered for them - including what was discussed in "pre-interviews" - so the host & guest both have an idea of where things are going...but, there are times when the people on FoxNews - much more than CNN or pMSNBC - will take something someone has just said and nail them with it - I still remember an exchange where David Asman had congress-critter Rangle completly at a loss for words - and I e-mailed Asman, suggesting he do a "Caught on Tape" special of moments like that.

I agree that the Rep Party probably got Thune to back down - just like with Ashcroft in Missouri, who had a very good case when he lost to Carnahan (the Mrs I mean, who technically was not even on the ballot). You lost, that's it, we'll get them next time.

Nope, there is/was a Greg Jarrett on KGO/KSFO. I figured it wasn't the same guy as the Fox guy, because the voice is very different. But I am not certain, of course.

His political leanings? American to the core. Honest; pulls no punches when it comes to right or wrong when the occasion warrants it otherwise fairly vanilla.

From the Fox News bio page: Most recently, Jarrett served as an anchor and correspondent for MSNBC, where he covered the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11 and the 2000 Election from Tallahassee, FL.
Prior to his stint there, Jarrett served as an anchor at Court TV for nine years. He covered an extensive number of trials, as well as their signature evening news and talk program, Prime Time Justice. From 1993-1997, Jarrett hosted Court TVs nationally syndicated half-hour magazine show, Inside Americas Courts.
Jarrett began his television career as an anchor and producer at KCSM-TV (PBS) in San Francisco, CA, and then went on to work as an anchor and reporter for WMDT-TV 9ABC) in Salisbury, MD, WKFT-TV (Independent) in Raleigh, NC and KSNW-TV (NBC) in Wichita, KS.

Actually, if people would just read the story of Abraham and Sarah in the Bible, they would see the whole story.
Two sons - Ishmael & Isaac. Ishmael was the son of Abraham and a servant girl. Isaac was the son of Abraham and Sarah (which makes Isaac the legal heir). In Jewish law, the eldest son inherits everything. Ishmael always believed he was the first born, and therefore entitled to Abraham's inheritance. What was the inheritance ...?? THE LAND GOD GAVE TO ABRAHAM. You can read a description of it in the Bible.
Ishmael is the beginning of the Arab nations. His hatred of Sarah (for putting him out of the camp), Abraham (who did what Sarah wanted), and Ishmael's own mother (who did not fight for their [supposed] rightful inheritance, has been the sole goal of the Arabs for all these years.
From that time [4000 years] the Arab nations have tried to destroy the Jewish people. They almost succeeded in Germany, but THE UNITED STATES intervened. Then Israel tried to claim their inheritance - and some of the Arab people were MOVED off the land to allow Israel to become a nation. You can see here the connection of the U.S. with Israel - and why we are included in terror attacks.
The PA has continued to contend that Israel STOLE the land - but in actuality, it was the surrounding Arab nations who stole all the lands which had been given to Abraham - because they believe it belongs to them. Their only goal is the TOTAL DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL.
Please understand ... this is a land dispute and the goal is revenge!!
After you indoctrinate people for 4000 years to believe certain land belongs to them - how can you change that ...??
The PA has no right to the land. No Arab nations have any right to the land. However, Israel does not attack Jordan and take back that land (which is theirs), Israel does not attack Syria and take their land (which is theirs). But ... the PA attacks Israel and claims they have no right to be there. Morally, the Arabs have no claim to the land - but the Arabs are determined to destroy Israel, just to keep the land for themselves.
GOD is never going to allow that to happen.
