Thanks Radix for the pancakes. I think I will only have a few since I am having some this weekend. But thanks for going to all the trouble to fix breakfast at the Canteen. I hope the military visitors enjoy the pancakes. I do like coffee with my breakfast, so I will fix me a cup.
GOOD MORNING TO ALL. Hope you enjoy your visit to the Canteen today. Be sure to try the pancakes while you're here as Radix prepared them especially for the Canteen. To our visiting active duty military and allied military, help yourself to all the pancakes and coffee you want. It is free to you. We here at the Canteen make sure the supplies here at the Canteen are free to you. Ain't that right, tonk?

Just wanted to say thank you to my father who is 84 years old today (not in good health - may not see 85). A D-Day veteran - Omaha Beach; 29th Infantry; 116 Reg; Cav Recon. Also, his unit was the first into St.Lo. He says very little about his experience other than; it had to be done & wouldn't want to do it again. His grandchildren got a bit of an idea what he saw/did after seeing Pvt. Ryan - new resoect for grandpa.
To: tomkow6
Let me think...
I don't see no crazy person....we are all sane here......maybe they are found here.....Oh...oh... Beth and radu might go to this club.....hmmmmmmmm.....let me me discuss this with MY voices.....

FOOD DISTRIBUTION Working with Red Crescent volunteers, a U.S. Army sergeant watches over a crowd of women at the entrance to a food distribution site in Baqubah, Iraq. U.S. soldiers are working with the Iraqi and Saudi Red Crescent charitable organizations to distribute emergency food rations to 800 of the neediest families in Baqubah, as selected by leaders of the local Islamic mosques. A system of rationing was used with cards distributed by the mosque. U.S. soldiers are providing security and crowd control for the Red Crescent workers as they distributed much needed food. My pleasure, beach. It is important to me that our troops and their loved ones, as well as us, see our troops "at work" keeping our America free.
