The Fisher House program is a unique private-public partnership that supports America's military in their time of need by providing homes close to a loved one during the hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury.

There are currently 31 houses located on the grounds of every major military medical center and several VA medical centers. These houses will play a critical role in caring for casualties from Operation Iraqi Freedom. Donations will be used to help meet the cost of lodging for a family whose loved one was injured in Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom. There is a limit to the number of families who can stay in a Fisher House and program is committed to help provide lodging for families who must find commercial lodging, because the Fisher House is full.

Good Morning Radix, our Military members and all of the Canteen crew. Pancakes would hit the spot this morning.

Warm up exercise for today . . . .

A Sunday school teacher discussed the Ten Commandments with her five- and six-year olds. After explaining the commandment to "honor thy father and thy mother," she asked, "Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?"

Without missing a beat one little boy answered, "Thou shall not kill."

Today's FEEBLE attempt at humor:

A man comes home from an exhausting day at work, plops down on the couch in front of the television, and tells his wife,
"Get me a beer before it starts."

The wife sighs and gets him a beer. Fifteen minutes later, he says,
"Get me another beer before it starts."

She looks cross, but fetches another beer and slams it down next to him.
He finishes that beer and a few minutes later says,

"Quick, get me another beer, it's going to start any minute."

The wife is furious. She yells at him,
"Is that all you're going to do tonight? Drink beer and sit in front of that TV? You're nothing but a lazy, drunken,
fat slob, and furthermore ..."

The man sighs and says,
"It's started ..."

Top hat and Tails isn't formal?

My dictionary must be thrown out.

I do see the difference . . . . you would wear the second one to a formal affair. LOL
