Freep Foxnews! I'm getting sick of this!
Posted on 04/27/2003 4:50:47 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55
I've e-mailed them once, and it doesn't seem to be getting their attention.
Julian Phillips on the weekend Fox and Friends is blatantly shoving his liberal crap down the throats of the viewers.
Not only that, but he keeps calling our President just "Bush" Here is an example of what he has been saying...
"Bush needs to be held accountable if we don't find these weapons of mass destruction. I understand that they are hard to find, but thats the only reason Bush went in there in the first place."
He said over and over virtually the same thing yesterday, and I e-mailed Foxnews, and nothing has changed.

The solution to your problem is simple. When this guy comes on, turn the channel. Why beat Foxnews up over it?
Sean Hannity gets emotional to the point of being obnoxious at times. I think this is equally damaging. Point being, they are still on our side. Don't sweat the simple stuff man...

I watched this. I think all opinions should be aired. Let them spout. How we gonna know how they are thinking if we only get one side? I can't believe you all are so upset. I think the exchange it is interesting. It allows for rebuttal, doesn't it? And that is good.

In many circles - professional, social, political - it's considered perfectly correct to simply use the last name when referring to even the most distinguished people. Exactly. For variety's sake, you have to alternate and mix up what you call people you speak of frequently. It would sound silly to constantly say President Bush, this, President Bush that. Heck, those people on F&F give the president more respect than a lot of people on FR.

there is a protocol and calling the President of the Unite States by his last name is wrong, and disrespectful, and done on purpose becasue of either ignorance or bias by this clown...

FOX hardly ever gives voice to the liberal end of the spectrum. Maybe this is just part of the "Fair and Balanced" doctrine. FOX isn't promoting the radical leftist agenda by any means, and sometimes it's good to give voice to the left because just letting the speak does irreperable damage to their cause. I don't think it's an outright sign that FOX requires any sort of FReep. If anything, it's just a sign that they do attempt and succeed at balanced coverage.
Nope, I don't like what the jerk is saying, but I support his right to be a jerk. I don't have to listen to him though. FOX realizes this too, and does an excellent job at provided coverage that most of America can stomach. That's an understatement as their programming simply blows away any other news station.
We are a FOX family 24/7 here.

Let's face it, the "B" team leaves much to be desired. Juliet Huddy is terminally shallow and dumb. Listening to her babble is like fingernails on a blackboard. I wish they would replace her with Kirin Chetry permanently.

The point is not that Julian Phillips is liberal. I have no problem with Alan Colmes, with whom I disagree on most every issue.
My objection is to the disrespect shown to the president (and I will bet you cash money that the guy calls X-42 PRESIDENT Clinton) AND to the fact that he sticks his opinion in as fact. I also object to his total incompetence...yesterday he threw to Lauren in the newsroom, even though she was sitting there right beside him! He also gets basic facts incorrect.
Yes, we do have the right to turn the channel, and I have done so. However, I also believe that Fox needs to know why...otherwise the producer may conclude that Julia's skirts aren't short enough or that we need MORE Julian!
