Interesting live footage on CNN
Posted on 04/12/2003 9:27:32 PM PDT by saquin
CNN reporter Brent Sadler traveling on a road very near Tikrit. The retired military officer in the studio keeps telling him to be careful. I find these live shots very nerve-wracking. It seems rather foolish for a reporter to be doing this, considering that Tikrit is a Saddam stronghold. Just a heads-up in case anyone is interested.

Look my FRiend, you do not need to tell me about CNN's lack of ethics and political slant.
I shot a tv with my .357 a couple years ago and have watched them very little since. If it were not for this war, I would not have them on and have been cussing their goat stinking asses since 2000 on this forum with few results.
MSNBC has gotten even worse because of their pretense of being better balanced.
They are all complicit in the lies from Baghdad, with the exception of FOX news.
However, FOX needs to dump SKY News once and for all. They are disgusting.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I wondering if the upstairs is wearing a hole in the floor.

I think those guys were actually 40 miles north of Tikrit when the cameras caught up with them

I agree on this ... this is just great journalism, this brit journalist is now *IN* an *abandoned* military facility *IN TIKRIT* ...
4th ID will roll up to a ghost town. The scenes are described as bizarre and they are.
This war is *so* over, is my conclusion.

Caution is kind of out the window concerning the reporters being on their own on the enemies military base.

I wonder how much money that CNN reporter paid off the locals to get them to hold their fire?
To: saquin
Will not watch CNN. Can't take liars and unbelievably biased reporters like Amanpour.

I honestly do not find this strange that is that no one is there, Why be a sitting duck for the bombs? - If there is any left they are probably in the heart of Tikrit.

Maybe this reporter is about to experience his Robert Fisk moment...
To: WOSG
CENTCOM has been saying for a couple days that their will likely not be a battle.
They know.
