Interesting live footage on CNN
Posted on 04/12/2003 9:27:32 PM PDT by saquin
CNN reporter Brent Sadler traveling on a road very near Tikrit. The retired military officer in the studio keeps telling him to be careful. I find these live shots very nerve-wracking. It seems rather foolish for a reporter to be doing this, considering that Tikrit is a Saddam stronghold. Just a heads-up in case anyone is interested.

Just Boycott CNN. Well, I'm no great fan of CNN either, but I flip between all the news channels and when I come across live footage on any of them, I watch. I can't help it, I find it interesting. Doesn't matter who's broadcasting it.

In the beginning, when they showed that really long live shoot-out on FNC, they would keep bringing the camera around showing the soldiers. I kept thinking, oh my God, at any moment they could show someone's head get blown off. I wrote to Fox bringing this up. Right after that things started getting really hairy and they pretty much stopped showing the live battles. But yes, in these situations I wonder, do they have a delay built in, just in case?

I wonder what they had to overlook in order to be there...

After Eason Jordan decided to shill for Uday, I've removed them from the remote control.
I don't care if they have live coverage of aliens blowing up the moon, nothing excuses their bias.

CNN advertised on FNC tonight. The sound was a bit garbled. Can't help but think the engineers at FNC did a little tweaking under the table.

This is excellent video. Not so much in itself, but because it's the first video from Tikrit, and it seems to show that there's no one left in control of the city. No one's even challenging Sadler.

I've removed them from the remote control.I took cnn out of the search list for the cable box, now it just skips over. I've been doing it to every TV I find....

I know...
I only watch FOX for the story, but CNN has excellent coverage, with bias, of course.
