Another little Stalin hits the dirt. Whom is the Left gonna worship now? Oh wait, there is still Fidel!
(Actually, the Left has learned and adapted, and now worships only the dead ones who didn't have time to earn bloody reputations: Che, Trotsky, Allende!)

GREAT POST!

I saw that on Fox -- the guy was trying to show some photos of something to the marines on the steps of the hotel (I think that is where it was). The marines ignored them. This was right after some Iraqis with the "Go home human shields" banner displayed it on the street.

To: Conservative til I die
If you watched FOX you would have seen the Iraqis carrying a banner that said Human Shields Go HOME!
Those fools thought they were doing the people a favor, but the people resented them.
To: ilgipper
Instead of enjoying the scene of these people experiencing the greatest moment in their lives, Brokejaw brought up the Middle East situation and they talked about that for the remainder of the time. Katie had to ask why the Bush Administration has erred in waiting so long to engage in that region, and some chick from London Weekly, or some some such mag, was in Iraq talking about people crying because they thought the Americans were there to kill them....She talked about the great fear down around the statue about the Americans occupation. *GAG*
I flipped briefly to MSNBC or NBC and heard Timmy "Potato Face" Russert spewing similar anti-Bush venom. Unbelievable... can you imagine if their boy algore was in office and this happened???
Back to Fox News... as the statue toppled and the people cheered, Brit Hume said "I wonder what 'ol Jacques Villepin is saying NOW!" LOL

Might sound corny but I think we should all privately celebrate - we should all eat b'day cake !! Think I'm kidding ? I'm going after one now, and offering everyone I see today a piece !!!! That statue coming down is what it's all about. How something simple gains such signficance !!!

Flood gates have started up again as I watch the Iraqi-Americans marching in the streets of Dearborn, Michigan, WITH AMERICAN FLAGS. Tissues will not last the day.

It has been an unbelieveable day and I share what you are going through this morning. To see the Iraqi people bring out their old flag did it for me -- they have been waiting years for this day!
Makes you so proud to be an American as our Country risks the lives of our people to liberate another Country -- when MSNBC does their tribute with the Star Spangled Banner playing, I tear up everytime!
What a day!

I agree- or as a substitute- get her tongue pierced. They seem to do that willingly, and it is just as effective as putting a big S on their forehead for marking the stupid ones.

Great victories come only to those who never waver
No matter how loudly the enemies of freedom may mock
Who see the path of duty, and follow it to the very end
God bless our President on this day
He will be known forever as 'the Liberator of Iraq'!
