Instead of enjoying the scene of these people experiencing the greatest moment in their lives, Brokejaw brought up the Middle East situation and they talked about that for the remainder of the time. Katie had to ask why the Bush Administration has erred in waiting so long to engage in that region, and some chick from London Weekly, or some some such mag, was in Iraq talking about people crying because they thought the Americans were there to kill them....She talked about the great fear down around the statue about the Americans occupation. *GAG*
I flipped briefly to MSNBC or NBC and heard Timmy "Potato Face" Russert spewing similar anti-Bush venom. Unbelievable... can you imagine if their boy algore was in office and this happened???
Back to Fox News... as the statue toppled and the people cheered, Brit Hume said "I wonder what 'ol Jacques Villepin is saying NOW!" LOL

Peetah Jennings was despondent, too. He actually criticized the Marine who covered Saddam's head with the Flag. Jennings and Koppel kept trying to come up with bad news to counter the image of the statue falling. ABC's coverage wasn't too bad before; Jennings must have run to the studio to try to throw a wet blanket on things.
