Busted! Lawrence Eagleburger outs the New York Times
On Fox News Channels hit debate show Hannity and Colmes, former Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger inarguably exposed the anti-Bush bias of the New York Times for all to see. Secretary Eagleburger recounted how he was approached by the Times to write an op-ed piece. The Times told him, explicitly, to be critical of the administration.
This is an indisputable example of how the Times bends the news and its editorials to forward its radical left-wing agenda.

Who did Hannity quote, "It took Janet Reno a month to beat the Branch Davidians." I loved it!!!Hannity was quoting Rush.
Rush actually said it took 51 days for Reno to beat the Davidians

Colmes talked about how the UN is good at governing after the war and Liddy says -- no they are not -- the UN is only good for handing out food!
Now they have on Scott O'Grady -- one of them -- Hannity or colmes -- asked him what he flew. Scott said he flew an F-16 and one of them said -- off the carriers? I cracked up -- the look on Scott's face was priceless -- an F-16 off a carrier -- not in a million years. He is an Air Force pilot and they wanted to know if he flew off the carrier! Amazing!

"The person who talked to Eagleburger is not important. The order would come from the top! = Howell Raines!"
I'd say that IS pretty damned important! Eagleburger's story needs to be told to the masses, every frigging detail. Turn the light on and watch the roaches scurry.

The LA Times fired the photographer that doctored that photo and ran an apology.
This thread. Although it's possible they just did that because they got caught.

When I first came on the Internet years ago I signed up at the NY Times to get news alerts and go visit their site -- after the first month I never went back! I had not realized until actually reading their site how liberal they were!

Flood the Foxnews e-mail addy's to pursue this story, flood Drudge etc.
This is huge and needs to be developed. The thought of hurting the Times even a bit makes me salivate.
Too bad I don't have sources inside the Times or I would try to work this one myself.

Did Eagleburger name names? I want these commies outed once and for all.He doesn't have to. Howell Raines. Howell Raines. Howell Raines. Howell Raines. Howell Raines. Named as executive editor just days before 9/11, and immediately ordered a radical leftward shift across the board. It is exceedingly common knowledge in the journalism community, and the paper has, in the last year and a half, lost a goodly percentage of its credibility as a result even within that sad little industry. And when the news media thinks you've gone too far to the left, that's really saying something.

Did he indicate how he was approached; e-mail, phone, or in person? If e-mail, we need the e-mail given out.

Our local newspapers prints on the front page a column titled Analysis which is nothing but opinion but the stupid editors think to use it as objective news. What a bunch of liberal good for nothing news dumbclucks.

I cancelled my NY Slimes subscription this year after 26 years of receiving the rag. I signed up for the Post. I remember when I was in high school, the times claimed it was written for a 10th grade level. Now I think they're down to 7th grade. The WSJ used to be at a college freshman level. Now it is down to 10th grade. The post has stuck with a 6th grade level and I like it just fine.
By the way I am totally in favor of corrective killing. If they have to kill Bagdad to save it, that's fine with me.

Well ... I'm sure Hannity will make good use of the information on his radio show.
And ... I'm quite sure Rush will also be talking about it tomorrow as well.

I think they should look into this further -- get names, etc. This could be huge in starting to really bring down the NY Times. Bring down the NYTimes?? Because they express bias on their Op/Ed page?
Yeah, right.
Do you ninnies even understand what an Op/Ed page is? It stands for Opinion/Editorial - usually the opinion of the paper or the publisher. So now it is a big revelation to people on this thread that the NYTimes expresses left-of-center opinons on its Op/Ed page?
Uh, this may be news to people on this thread, but for most Americans this would be like announcing the startling discovery that water is wet and that a hot stove can burn you. Sheez!

I love this man, especially when he referred to pink or such sunglasses(rose colored) the other night. He said so many things that are absolutely correct.
