I just hope I never have to hear him say "NUCULAR" and "BAYAG-DAYAD" in the same sentence... I dunno... I can think of sentences combining those words that I wouldn't mind hearing.

LOL. Just a mess. Two long, stinking weeks and we have destroyed two entire divisions out of 4 and have the other two almost destroyed. Hold nearly the entire country. 99.999999% of the air. Heck, we just might as well quit and come home.

I wonder how long it will take the Americans and Brits to secure the city?

Wait there just a minute Cowboy, I went to the article itself and read "Late SUNDAY" That is S U N D A Y, as in three days ago. 3 days ago.
I think something is suspect here, this doesn't qualify as breaking news...
Woah there boy...

Today I told any students who were planning "peace" protests and a "teach in" for the weekend that they might want to accelerate their schedule, because the war may well be over by the time they start their activities.

I wonder how far from downtown Baghdad the "outskirts" might be. Baghdad is a large as LAMaybe LA city limits, but in reality, LA from the northern end of the San Fernando Valley to the southern tip of south Orange County is *70 miles* long and approximately 40 miles wide.
I don't think Baghdad comes close to this size.....

I know the generals know what they are doing, but I still have a bad feeling. Could these scum have boobytrapped the entire city? They wouldn't care if a few million of their own people died.

I wonder what Peter Arnett thinks about that?
If that's failure... I can't imagine what success looks like.

Quagmire indeed. Our insufficient number of troops are running out of supplies, bogged down and in an operational pause, due to the flawed war plan.
Makes Vietnam look like a good time.

Saddam DNA?
Eewwwww, gross!

Is that one of ours, or one of theirs?
It doesn't look like an M-1 to me.

It's amazing how fast our military reached Baghdad...especially in such a pause and redirection of war plans. Just amazing. :o)
