I understand that the military is not allowing direct giving of products by civilians to military due to obvious security concerns. Needed and wanted materials are being provided by corporations which are taking donations.
I would advise taking money because products give by civlians directy are NOT going to be accepted.

Do any women need a ride from NE Connecticut to Washington. I am not going any great distances; if you want a ride and are near a highway on my way down, I'd be glad to pick you up. I have a KIA SUV that can transport around 7 other people.

Awesome!
Now, I have to choose: Bachelor party for friend, or rally with the "G-man" (among others) on the 12th!
Believe me, it's not as easy a choice as you might think; which I guess is a rather sad statement, depending how you look at it. hehe

Congrats on a great speaker line-up. Will the unwashed be protesting at the same time? If so, please stay safe.

DC Chapter signed on as a co-sponsor! Yippee! No porta-potty duty this time!
Kudos and bear-hugs to the DC Chapter members who donated the money needed for the chapter to co-sponsor this HUGE rally!
And of course, kudos (and bear-hugs) to all the DC Chapter members and our out-of-town friends who have supported (with their pin money) all the rallies we put on solo in the past year!
It's great to see that individuals and groups in cities and towns across the USA are holding rallies of their own, too! From what I've been seeing and reading, it seems like there is a pro-troops rally somewhere in the USA almost daily.
I'm praying right now for the safety of our soldiers and their families, our leaders and the innocent Iraqi people who are facing great danger tonight and in the days and weeks to come. God love 'em and watch over them - I can only imagine what they're going through right now.

C.A.N.S.W.E.R. will be across the way at the Washington Monument. I'm interested to see how much of a crowd they'll pull. I'd bet it will be less than what they had in March.
