And I believe it is Greenwich time which means if someone signs up right now, the date will be 2003-04-02 since it is already Wednesday April 2 in England.

For her anti-US views, please join me in referring to her as "Karbala Katie".

No, what I was saying was that liberal talking heads are always liars, and I will never believe a word they say. That is in reality a bit of hyperbole, but is a general summarization of my utter contempt for the leftist liberal media in America.

I just think it is a good starting point to know you are being lied to, I can find the specific reasons for my initial rejection of their propaganda later. I do not suspend critical thinking at all, I just save time up front by knowing immediately that the left lies all the time.

It's like this...How do you know a democrat is lying? His lips are moving.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of innocent lives. This further our cause to free the Iraqi citizens from the terror of Saddam's sadistic henchmen.

Too bad it wasn't a vehicle driven by Jennine (sp) Gawdawfulho and a group of human shields.

He signed up on January 4th, roughly 3 months ago. And don't accuse me have having a false authority complex when there are DUh people who sign up here and flame away on a regular basis. An account that is only 3 months old could easily be a mole.

Now go be a sciolist somewhere else.

"If you bothered to check, you'd see I've been here for awhile. =)"

You've been here since January 4, 2003.

Our military is the major part of the force over there. Our forces are moving. Not many Americans love and respect the Brits more then I do, and I'm not dissing their awsome achievements in Iraq. However the British forces are more stationary and concentrated only in certain places.

Basra. Umm Qusar. The same thing will likely happen when the Brits are able to reach Karbala. The US forces will move on, while the Brits stay. That doesn't mean acts of kindness haven't been committed by the US military in Iraq; only that the British press, having passed the point of no return and with their countrymen on enemy soil, REPORTS it, because they are trying to support their troops and their leader - and naturally biasing the news to highlight British triumphs and British compassion.

Sure, the British press isn't 100 percent onboard, but there IS a noticable difference betewen the tone of their reporting pre-war and now. The US press - with the exception of Fox - is neither behind our leader nor our troops, and only highlights what can be spun as bad. To most of the US media, EVERYTHING is spun as bad. The Pentagon miscalculated. We're out of ammo. Our troops are starving and have no fresh water. Every skirmish is a major battle which US forces won by the skin of their teeth. Our soldiers are trigger-happy, cold-blooded targeters of innocent civilians. To the DNC (formerly Clinton) Propaganda Machine, there ARE no US triumphs, and there IS no US compassion.

US forces were giving their food to Iraqi conscripts even before the scata hit the fan in Iraq. Our media didn't make a big deal of reporting it. When British forces shared their food with Iraqi conscripts, the praise for their generosity flowed warmly - and deservedly - from the British media.

There will be stories of the kindness, compassion and sacrifices of American troops in Iraq...after Baghdad is taken, likely only shown on Fox News and various local channels, and printed in the very few news publications which, like Fox, try to remain balanced.

Retro,

I didn't want to start a fight either. I posted @ work while nobody was looking which accounts for the one line post - no ill will intended. I was wondering where Fox had got ahead of themselves in the news reporting and later had to retract. Later I saw you follow up w/ the three examples. I don't get to watch TV alot and was just wondering to what you were referrring. Thx.

He criticizes Fox News Channel for an obvious flaw and all of a sudden everybody is jumping all over him calling him a mole!!

So now, to be a conservative, one has to like love a certain TV channel!?!
