This is a call for anyone who is sick and tired of the Anti War protests going on in our country. It is time to show our support. This Saturday (3/29) there is going to be a support the troops rally in Provo, UT at ten o'clock in front of the City Center building. (Corner of Center street and Univeristy Avenue) Bring yellow ribbons, flags, and posters to show support. The bigger the better. I am trying to news coverage to aid in our cause.
TM4, Zachary1985, and myself are in the process of organizing a "Rally for America - Support our troops" set for April 5th at the capitol (in Salt Lake).
Whish I could attend the Provo rally but I made a commitment I can't break for that day!
Please ping A Navy Vet, Bob J, and diotima. Thank you.
During this time of war, expressions of faith are growing across the United States and beyond, but nowhere more dramatically than in Lithia Springs, Georgia. In the hometown of Latter-day Saint Ronald Young Jr., the 26-year- old helicopter pilot who was shot down and taken prisoner by Iraqis, the faith community has rallied around the family. "I think prayer is what's gotten us through this," Kelly Lively, the older sister of Young, said Tuesday. "I know it's everybody's prayers that have uplifted us. I know Ron has to feel that. It's what'll get him through."
