========= Baghdad =========

In Baghdad, empty streets, fierce sandstorm, and pollution by
Saddam's thick smoke from burning oil trenches.

Ozymandius by Percy Bysshe Shelley

I met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said--"Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desart . . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal, these words appear:
My name is Ozymandius, King of Kings,
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away."

I believe this guy is now running the show.

Every time I see a clip of Saddam, "Weekend at Bernies" pops into my mind.

Thank you so much for all you do. After-school routine at this house has now become snack, Dio, homework.

God bless the troops.

We need a tank to take out the statute in your last photo!

Wanna get a collection fund going and lease a cruise missile for it?

Strangecosmos is getting under my skin. They seem to have no problem trolling this site and putting their logos on our pix, but when we need them, their bandwith isn't up to it. GRRR

A Message for the Iraqis

"Yeah, I'm bleeding
But I'm still upright
But you'll be dead
By tomorrow night

The worst mistake
You ever made
Was to kill our guys
In such an evil way

Now we're pissed
Gonna kick your ass
And you can't stop us
It'll be a blast"
