Caller to talk show said just now that a man in a blue Geo Metro has been going around the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St Paul) and stealing flags, support our troops signs, etc, in broad daylight!

:-) Wish I was closer. I'd be out looking for this guy, armed with my cell phone.
Lady said the guy's car was parked for a long time in front of someone's place with signs, then later I think it was something like she came home to see the same car in front of her place and he took off with them. I could be mistaken on that one, the kids were making noise.

. . . this guy is looking to get beat up.This clown runs into "some buckaroo" and he may just have a short, exciting life. Sounds like he's looking for trouble, actually. Wouldn't be surprised if he's armed (at least that would be my story, and I'd stick to it.)

These types are everywhere. After 9/11 I added a small 2ft. flag to the planter at the top of our driveway. Next morning it was on the ground broken in half.

I just hung up a new ($37 worth) flag at our company after having had TWO stolen previously. This time I put our company name, address, and phone number on the edge in permanent marker. We'll see if the police can find it if this one gets taken.
