Kofi Annan just announced that once the war is over, UN inspections will continue. What the hell is this pygmy smoking?

There won't be anything left to inspect, so it wouldn't take long.

Nah, the Blix team are experts in finding the Global Warming threat source. Besides...they are well funded with magnifying glasses.

No need for you or your worthless inspectors, Kofi. The US/UK have things well in hand, so sit on the sidelines and watch the grownups take care of it.

I have a idea! Let him inspect his bags as he is packing up the UN and moving to Communist Paris or Russia!

He also said the Oil for Food program will continue as well (something I also heard over the weekend). Isn't that a function of the sanctions? Won't the sanctions be ended once Saddam is gone?

The UN just goes on merrily along, thinking nothing has changed. Idiots.

He actually said that UNMOVIC's mission will continue. The hell it will! Tell Blix his unemployment check is in the mail.

He also said that the oil for food program should continue. As I said on another thread, he's been sniffing burning tires.

How much longer is his term? The more he talks the more it seems that the only reality he lives in is the one in which he is supreme commander of the money from the "Oil for Food" program.

The UN dealt itself out of this process. I now hear the Chirac wants the UN to make sure tha the US and Britian don't have the say in post war Iraq. I think Chirac has been smoking something! None of these characters should have nothing to say about it, we will let the Iraqis decide who is on their side.
